"The hotel itself was a 5 star. Great big rooms, comfortable beds, lovely pool with incredible views, a great private beach, two hotel dinner restaurants and some nice local restaurants to walk to for dinner too with a small convenience type store also nearby. The service was more a 3 star. It was a birthday trip and my partner had emailed the concierge at the hotel before the trip who had said via email that they had confirmed several things (a dinner reservation/cake/kayaking etc) when we arrived the reception said the concierge was on holiday and they did not know anything about the birthday things planned, so it appears the concierge did not book these things despite email confirmation from them. My partner had to ask at least 4 times to try and then book them again. It was difficult for something that should have been simple. One day the cleaning service only gave us 1 shower towel for 2 people. Another day the ice cream at the pool bar had all melted so no ice cream available from there. Another occasion the hot items at breakfast were cold (eggs, beans etc) On my birthday I got a nice card and small cake but this still took my partner asking many times. The hotel food and drink is pricey (€6 for a small coke). Every day they started playing music in the breakfast area at 7am before breakfast was even open, the noise woke me up every day and seemed unnecessary. Overall a really lovely stay and an amazing holiday and area, just not a 5 star service. "

"The level of friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was simply outstanding. As a small boutique hotel they will never be able to compete with larger hotels but teh experiene was transformed by the fact that they consistently went out of their way to be helpful and one staff member especially ( a lovely lady from Bali) was a goldmine of helpful information about local facilities and options for sightseeing/recreation and good restaurants in the area. We will definitely go back!"

"Fabulous swimming pool, lovely rooms and an excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Plenty of space (not overcrowded at all) so it was always easy to get a sunlounger of your choice. Service at lunchtime was very poor though. It took 1.5 hours for 3 caprese salads one day, so we started going out for lunch."

"Came here with a suitcase, left with stronger legs. No elevator? No problem—6 floors of cardio included! Parking? Sure, if you enjoy paying €8/day to park at another hotel. Room was a nostalgic trip to Yugoslavia. Door didn’t close, Wi-Fi worked part-time, and the shower turned the bathroom into a swimming pool. No TV? They called it “economic.” No view? “Economic.” No light? Guess what—economic. Staff experience: Turkish team = angels. Local team = "Why are you even here?" vibes. Oh, and they babysit your passport for a day. Would I come back? Only if paid… in gold."

"The Kotor Nest is a hidden away gem. The staff is friendly and helpful and the accommodation, right in the heart of Kotor Old town is comfortable and stylish. Aircon worked well. No breakfast available (just coffee from a machine which was good) but steps away, are many restaurants with breakfast options. Shared fridge space was a help. Reception is up two flights of stairs, no lift, just to be aware. We highly recommend this hotel."

Breakfast was delicious and the dining space is great too. The hotel is only a short walk to the old town and beaches. I would highly recommend if you are staying in Budva."

"This hotel is just about a year old, so everything still feels brand new. It has a sleek, high-tech vibe—from the doors and knobs to the modern bathroom/shower design and even the TV and remote, which my kids especially enjoyed. We booked a suite since there were four of us, and it was very spacious with a balcony that offered a lovely view. The staff were warm and accommodating—Angela checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay, and both Dušan (the GM) and Nikola at the front desk were equally helpful. There’s a convenience store right across the street that had everything we needed—from wine to milk. Breakfast was complimentary and decent (I loved the home-made pie!), but on the day we checked out early, they thoughtfully packed sandwiches and fruit for us to take with us. The rooftop pool with city views is a great feature. We visited briefly but didn’t get a chance to swim since it closes at 8 p.m. and tends to be a popular hangout spot. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to the Old Town and nearby beaches. Taxis are easy to get if you prefer not to walk, but I recommend strolling—there are lots of charming little shops, restaurants, and food kiosks you’d otherwise miss by car. "

"This hotel was right on the bay with beautiful views. We were delayed for our arrival and were very pleased to see their restaurant was open until 23:00. The food was delicious. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was safe with plenty of spaces. It is a short drive to old town. The road is very narrow but added to the appeal. "
