Centro Histórico
Puerto Plata's Centro Histórico takes you back in time with cobblestone streets winding past the imposing San Felipe Fort and golden-hued Amber Museum. 10/10 Excellent
"Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food was very good. The best part was the animation group, Nairobi, the master of ceremony, the choreagropher, and all the staff were great. Offered fun activities!! Very happy to have spent time there!!"
"Picturesque setting, super attentive staff, excellent facilities and services, spacious (never seemed crowded), tasty and varied food options, top-notch event organization and execution. Only suggestion for improvement: internet was spotty. "
BlueBay Villas Doradas - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The place was beautiful and comfortable. I had a family situation which had nothing to do with the property. The staff went out of their way to help with any issue we were facing. Though they were young, their maturity and professionalism were above and beyond."
"I stayed in one of the larger units; it had a fantastic view. Even though it was hot when I was there, we were high enough on the mountain to have a fresh breeze and I slept soundly with the help of a standing fan. Although rustic, there were plenty of hooks and space to unpack and settle in. Although there were about 25 steps to get to the lodge I was in it was totally worth the effort to get to the view and privacy! The food was delicious and the open air dining room also had beautiful views. The staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. We took a hike to God’s Swimming pool; the guide was patient and knowledgeable. The owner also curated a trip for us on another day to the nearby cigar factory and coffee plantation. I had an unforgettable time and would love to go back; this is definitely a place not to miss! "
"My sister and I were very impressed with the facility. The restaurants were lovely, food was great. The beach was absolutely beautiful. The room/apt was perfect after our long day of travel.
Thank you everyone"
"My husband and I loved the pool, breakfast and our entire little “house”. It was perfect size and clean. The apartment had everything that we needed to have a relaxing and comfortable time. The area is quiet and we walked all around the property. The zoo, the animals, the view, the plants and fruits just made us fall in love with this place. We will be back and maybe turn it into a tradition. "
"Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach.
Staff from main entrance, front desk, waitress and workers around the property are very friendly, respectful and welcoming."
"It was an amazing experience, everything was to my liking. The staff was wonderful and very friendly towards me and my family, will definitely recommend to everyone."
"The location was excellent close to the beach and restaurants the staff was very friendly and helpful wish I could have stayed longer but I’ll definitely stay there again 👍🙏🙏"
"The property is located pretty close to the cultural and historic spots of Puerto Plata with easy access to the Bus station, restaurants, beaches, and convenience stores. Bike taxis are typically available beside the building for cheap transportation to various tourists spots. Hector is a fine host who made himself available to provide me with all the required information and also provided great hospitality. I found my room quite neat while all the basic requirements like microwave owen, fridge, clean bed sheets, tidy bathroom, TV, table, chairs, and a cute balcony were inclusive. I would definitely recommend it to anyone during their stay at Puerto Plata."
"A check in we were told if we used a credit card we would be charged 18% so we had to pay cash and of course our cash is limited so we weren’t expecting that. So if you book with this hotel definitely pay through Hotels.com it’s a very funky place. "
