This trip was a quick family getaway. We attended GLOW at the Connecticut Convention Center, drove to Enfield to eat at Raising Caines and drove a few more minutes to Springfield, MA and went to the Bright Lights Christmas drive-thru.

Hartford has the potential to be a thriving city. I would like to see economic development put into Hartford like what is happening in West Hartford.

City homeless shelter only opens at midnight so some homeless are wandering around begging pedestrians - Hartford needs to organize w local corporate donors to open a soup kitchen or something for homeless to hang out in evenings instead of visitors

First time spending extended time here...it was wonderful and people friendly. Drivers are a bit 'anxious' jumping on the horn very quickly ( more than NYC)!

Expected the area to be bustling with options. Many places looked closed for new lease.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bradley Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"We normally stay at the Bradley Airport Sheraton and do the park and fly. However, their rates were absolutely ridiculous this year. We opted for the Holiday Inn Express and Suites a short hop away.
The facility was exceptional - immaculate - quiet and convenient to the airport 3-4 minutes away via an included shuttle service. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We will NEVER opt for the Sheraton again. The Holiday Inn's rooms, amenities and staff have them beat by a long shot."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hartford - Bradley Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about my stay was wonderful. The hotel was perfect; the location offered many good choice opportunities; I would say the only thing missing were shopping locations. But, this wasn’t my concern and they were available if you were interested in driving 15-20 minutes down the road."
