"Located right on the split to big bend national park and to Terlingua center with the starlight theatre, the location was phenomenal and the rooms were clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were a little dated in our room but still got the job done no problem. Linens were clean, beds pretty comfortable too. The staff were friendly and approachable during check in. All in all we would definitely stay here again . "

"It was me, my 5 year old, and our 9 month old puppy. Clean, quiet, comfortable cabin. Nice stargazing patio. Walk-in shower easy for all 3 of us to get clean after a long day of hiking. Bed was big enough for all of us and comfy. Restaurant on site had great staff that made us feel at home for diner and breakfast and the food was on point. Easy check-in and out process and a nice drive with great views."

"This place an unbelievably well done. They’ve thought of all the little details- river towels, sunscreen and JBL by pool, super high end well appointed kitchen, storage in refrigerators, ice, seating areas for sunrise and sunsets, hidden TV room. The location is perfect for exploring Big Bend and good location for Terlingua spots. We ended up extending our stay because it was so relaxing and perfect."

"John is the GM, we talked w him for a while up front. Super nice & very knowledgable of the Terlingua. My wife & I stayed in a double room. Bathroom, sink, 2 beds, tv. We didn't ever turn the TV on while we were there.
We loved our stay here. The location is perfect. John used a term, something to the effect of "Vintage hotel at affordable pricing" - that's exactly what it is. If you need a place to stay that won't break your bank, yet provide everything needed, Chisos is a wonderful place to stay! "
"Staff was able to help with late check-in and then when we had to leave a day early was very accommodating. It is a long way down the road to get to it but worth it. Rooms are nice (small fridge ONLY) but sitting underneath the mountains is nice. Bad Rabbit Cafe is right there and can get you anything you need if you're hungry. We had a great time and would stay here again. You can stay in Terlingua in the motels but you won't get the same experience."
"Loved this property in Terlingua. Friendly accommodating staff , Clean rooms, great air conditioning . Convenience store next door, restaurants close by. "
"The whole set up was amazing! The communal areas were beautiful and made socializing and getting ideas from other guests easy. If you didn't feel like socializing there is plenty of space to be by yourself. Can't say enough good things"
"Property was well maintained. Nice courtyard, pool, gym, restaurant. Our room toilet was making water running sound for about 10min after every flush."
