The staff were very polite and helpful. However, the waiting time in the restaurant was extremely long. It could take 30-40 minutes just to get your food on the table. The property is very clean and well kept. The beach is very nice-no sargassum, and the ocean part is nice. It was neither too shallow nor too deep. Just perfect for adults and kids. I would suggest to improve menu choices. The breakfast was very modest, not much variety-almost no fruits, and 2 tiny slices of bacon with omelet. They had pizza in the menu but as it turned out they could not make pizza for some safety reason. So why to have it in the menu?! The food in the restaurant lacked flavor. We ended up only having breakfast in the restaurant, and had lunch and supper
elsewhere for the last few days. The hotel has serious communication issues. They do not respond to your emails and phone calls. We booked our trip on Expedia and received a formal letter saying in case we have special event or preferences, we may contact the hotel. We had anniversary plans. We contacted the hotel twice through Expedia channel, and probably 3 times sent direct emails to the hotel. No response. When you call them, no one picks up the phone.
I gave it 4 stars only because the staff (servers and reception) were very nice, and the hotel and beach were very clean. But it could be really rated as 3-3.5 stars just for the quality of food and wait time for food, also no reply to your emails or phone calls.
