If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only ยฃ10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.

Excellent place to stay for piece & quite. Good size bedroom, comfortable bed, bath & shower. Very good breakfast, lots of choice. We had the valentines evening meal, which was exceptional. Staff really friendly, as were the owners. We have stayed here before and definitely will be again.

Went for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was spacious and clean although the carpet looked pretty old and the decor a bit dated. The bathroom was fantastic,it even had a tv in the bath ! The breakfast was lovely with a wide choice and we had our evening meal there twice. Both times it was lovely. It is a short walk from the hotel to the harbour and various pubs,restaurants and shops. The beach is there too. Itโ€™s all very compact so easy to walk around.

The hotel is conveniently situated for walks around West Bay, there was ample parking and the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were surprised - the hotel presented itself as perhaps old-fashioned and stuffy on the web. However, the complete reverse was true. Very good welcome, room, food, service, location and overall experience. Such a lovely traditional English hotel that serves excellent food. Sunday roasts are amazing a good value. West Bay is a self contained seaside resort with something for everyone. Would definitely come back again.
