In my 18 years of traveling across the US and staying at all kinds of hotels/motels, Sagebrush Inn is without a doubt the worst hotel room that I've ever stayed the night at. Incredibly dirty and extremely dated. If only I could share photos of the room 136, because words simply cannot explain how disgusting this room was/is.

Unfortunately my stay here was less than desirable. The property is ran down and unkept all around. The room was filthy with stains on the mattress, blinds that were broken and hanging off the wall. An electric plug in heater is all the room had. Dirty stained bath towels. I was checked into an occupied room that gave us both a surprise! I left 2 days early!

A property in need of some TLC

I was in Baker for one night. Not a lot of options, and I really just needed a quiet place to sleep, which it was. And the heater, TV, fridge and microwave all worked. But the room was beat up. The bathroom door didn't close. It was a relatively new, 6-panel pine door that was about 1/16 too wide. 10 minutes with a planer or belt sander and I could have fixed it for them. There was water and mold on the bathroom ceiling. The base moulding was coming off the wall. The weather stripping around the door was torn. You get the picture.

It was my only option on hotels.com..not good

The room i was given in the back building, was so disgusting...room 134 I believe. the bathtub had mold and nasty all around it on the caulking, the bathroom sink never got hot water, they use a small wall heater, the carpet is so old and nasty, the blinds were broken on couple spots, the bed was uncomfortable. There were other rooms, the place was not sold out, so why put someone in a nasty room when others "might" be more decent.

I could see daylight around the exterior door seal. Desk and chair in rough shape, about to come apart. Toilet required two flushes for every use. Exposed outlet in outside wall, loose in its mount. Smoke alarm missing completely. No front desk staff in the morning.
