Overall was good for our short stay in the area. Close to the bike path. Mini fridge available. There was a fan to help with white noise for highway traffic. The bed was so soft and “U-shaped” that I almost got my camping mattress pad out and slept on the floor.

So I chose pay at the property and 3 days before my stay the hotel took the full amount out of my account. When I called them and asked why they did this they said it's their policy and that third party sites will say anything to get them to book. What this did was it took all of my gas money to get from Boise to the coast. I wound up having to put everything on credit cards and pay interest on money that I would have had had they actually let me pay at the property. This is my second stay there in the exact same room. This time I realized exactly how bad the condition of the rooms actually are. When you look closely. There's an adjoining door in the room and the handle literally fell off when we walked by it. It, the window seal and all of the caulking and the bath room is terrible and warped, and the curtain rod was literally coming out of the wall. The beds were super uncomfortable. Uncomfortable. The springs in the one that I slept in were completely broken. It literally felt like a bed that you would have gotten off the side of the road or something. Staff was great and friendly and the room was clean but for $240 a night you would be better off to stay at motel 6 or somewhere else. We drove 35 minutes and stayed in Long Beach. Washington tonight for $100 less in a room that was a hundred times nicer. Unfortunately, I do not see myself coming back to this place. It's a very cute idea to take a retro motel and make it retro themed, but it's cheaply done and you can tell.

Decent place to stay

It’s a cute little motel with some character. The front desk person was nice the day we checked in (not so much the lady the next day). Also wasn’t the cleanest and the bed was a little wonky, but it was fine for one night. I will say the walls and floors seem quite thin, so be prepared to wear earplugs if you are sensitive like me. The Keurig machine and free breakfast were nice touches.

Hoping just flee bites

I stayed on the second floor in 221. It seemed clean but I woke up covered in bites. I’m really hoping it was just flee bites instead of the other horrible alternative. Just in case I had to put everything I brought to the motel into plastic bags and straight to the laundry mat. Never had so many bug bites before!

50's retro vibe!

Great place to stay at the coast! Prcies were better than most in the area. Older hotel but looks recently renovated. Love the look (50's vibe)!

Good service average facility

The check-in service was excellent as well as the cleaning staff. The facility was just average. there was no AC, the toilet was original equipment and very low and small and was difficult for senior to navigate. the parking was very limited and did not accommodate all visitors.

Not worth the price. Landlord special

Packed parking lot, one of the beds was old and horrible, another was ok. Bathroom was small small small, with a moldy windowsill, ceiling. Everything had five coats of killz over it, like a renovation was actually just the landlord special.

Not what it used to be

Not what Atomic Motel used to be. Front desk and room designs are still fun, But there are no more bikes, details in bathroom and bedrooms are starting to fray, and the spirit is kinda lost.

Cute, but needed a bit of an update.

The staff at check-in was very nice. The room was a bit outdated and needed a fresh coat of paint; there were spackled spots that were not painted over. Also, we could hear our neighbors come in late and everything they were doing in their room! It was cute, but we were not able to get a good night's sleep.

Pleasant stay in Astoria

Nice stay in this mid century (50s) decorated motel. Very clean, comfy bed, quiet. Nice offerings for breakfast. Close to highway and restaurants.

It was quiet for us. We slept straight and woke up in time for grab and go breakfast. Bought few souvenirs. Front end waited for us for check in as we were running late. Everything is ***** for us considering we have been traveling for a long time. The only comment my husband gave is he needs an elevator. He’s older than me but usually no problems. He just run upstairs that’s why he thinks he needs an elevator. It’s still a very good stay :)
