The young lady who checked us in was
I don't know how to put it, making jokes about my husband's features. And then saying she was only kidding. Then calling him names that she calls her grandfather and saying, oh, she was only kidding. We could barely understand half of her comments / gibberish., but they were mostly negative and none of them had anything to do with the amenities of the hotel or checking in. The advertisement says that they have two restaurants and a bar. One bar was open, and that was it in a restaurant. However, they did not serve any food and the other restaurant is closed. They supposedly had breakfast the next morning but I went up there and got coffee and never saw any place where any breakfast was being sAnd you couldWe are supposed to be in a "Superior King" room. The room that we have is I would say pretty awful. The rugs are terribly stained, the air conditioning unit makes an awful rattling noise. We had to actually keep a suitcase set on top of it, to keep it from rattling so bad. On the site that advertises their room, it says that it is handicapped accessible. Well, I can tell you that you couldn't get a wheelchair in that bathroom. You can barely get a person in there and turn around good. Also, there are bugs in the ceiling light fixture in the bathroom. And I don't mean one or two. I mean, it hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
Also, upon checking in, we were charged an amount that was much higher than was quoted in the hotels.com reservation.
