Incredible views & Modern accommodation

Amazing little hotel just a block away from the main square of Salento. Modern and new building with a lovely room and bathroom. We were in room 2 and had an incredible view! Wish we could have stayed longer!

simple, mais bien placé et propre.

Hôtel simple, mais bien placé et propre. Personnel agréable et de bons conseils. Inconvénient, pas de petit déjeuner, juste du café et du thé à disposition, mais facile de trouver une boulangerie ou un café aux alentours.

The property is a short walk from the town center which includes restaurants, gift stands, and jeep rentals to Cocora for hiking and horseback riding. The hostal feels brand new (hotel quality) and the staff is very friendly. My private room included a mini fridge, safe, desk, closet, private bath (hot showers), wi-fi, and cable. I definitely recommend this hostal for travelers to Salento.

El precio es muy económico, sin embargo los servicios muy descepcionantes, en la habitacion decia que si se necesitaba servicio de lavanderia era adicional, pedí el servicio para una camisa, y me entregaron una plancha, que cuando la utilicé, oxidó mi camisa. Luego le pedimos al administrador que nos facilitara un trapo para limpiar los zapatos, y nos entregó un balde con agua y que los limpiaramos en la calle (un detalle fatal). Y para finalizar, pedimos un transporte al aeropuerto, nos llevó el administrador en su vehículo particular, sin aire acondicionado en un calor terrible, fuera de eso, nos cobró tarifa plena. Les falta mucho en servicio al cliente. La próxima vez, prefiero pagar más. Ni vuelvo, ni lo recomiendo.

Nice little place with wonderful staff

Great location with wonderful staff. In rooms 1 and 2 you have a nice view from the balcony. Staff helped a lot with tours. They have a map of the city where they draw in a lot of informations about Salento and the coffee tours. They have a self drawn map of the cocora valley hike, too :)

Great location, clean, and helpful staff.

Great location minutes away from main plaza. Clean and well equipped rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Disappointingly breakfast is a cup of coffee and a small muffin - for this price, as compared to other places, I would have expected a better meal.

This was my worst experience in all of Colombia. An aggressive, unstable male that worked there verbally assaulted me. He followed me down the street yelling at me. I don’t recommend this place.

Una maravilla de hotel

Estuve 2 noches y la opinion mia es un hotel inmejorable. Personal inmejorable localización inmejorable. Limpieza inmejorable. General inmejorable. La verdad que es un personal maravilloso. Cualquier cosa que necesitaba estaban para ayudarme. Encima fue mi cumpleaños y tuvieron un obsequio para mi. Soy una persona muy crítica con los hoteles ya que viajo con frecuencia y creo k es el mejor hotel que estado nunca.

Muy buena opción en Salento

Casa de huéspedes muy recomendable a pocos minutos de la plaza principal de Salento. La habitación similar a la de un hotel de categoría superior, amplia, cama grande y cómoda, TV de pantalla plana con canales por cable, AC...Baño con ducha de agua caliente. Existe servicio de limpieza diario pero hay que indicarlo. El desayuno es básico pero correcto.El personal del hotel intentará ayudarte con todo lo que necesites.

I had an amazing time in salento and staying in this hotel was a great decision. Staff were so helpful and always available for anything I needed. They gave us excellent tips on restaurants and things to do and we managed to do them all. They were right! The beds were a little bit too hard but the cleanliness and space of room were on point. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in salento but away from the noise or the town center.

Hospitality and Comfort @ La Casa de Borbon

My welcome to Casa de Borbon began when I landed in Armenia. Mauricio was there to pick me up and drove me to the hotel. Although the transfer was more expensive than the regular taxi, Mauricio was an excellent companion and driver giving me the ins and outs of Colombia. I was welcome at the hotel by Marcela, who gave me all of the information I needed to make sure that my stay in Salento was complete. She made suggestions of where to go and what to eat. When I tried to book a ticket and was not able to use my international credit card, she offered to help me by paying it with her own credit card and I pay her the cash. When I left, Marcela told me that I would always have a home at the Casa de Borbon. The hotel was spotless. The rooms were clean and comfortable. From the balcony, I had a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Will never forget the beauty of the mist rising across the mountains. To experience Salento in all of its beauty, warmth, and hospitality, you really can't do better than Casa de Borbon.

Schoon hotel op goede locatie

Schone hospedaje met erg vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Ligt 1 blok achter de plaza, erg goede locatie. Ontbijt was niet zo goed (zoet broodje met ei, fruit en koffie, alles van wegwerp-service), dus dat hebben we buiten de deur gedaan(tip: café brunch!).

Great Hotel and Great Location

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Borbon very much. Mauricio and Marcella were very nice and very helpful and answered all of my questions. The hotel is situated a short distance from the main center which is nice.

Excelente pequenio Hospedaje

Tuvimos una excelente estadía en este pequenio hospedaje, especialmente por el buen servicio de su staff. Desde El administrador hasta la amable señora que mantuvo nuestra habitaciones impecables. Aunque la hora del desayuno empieza a las 8am, todos están dispuestos a prepararlo mucho antes si es necesario.
