Best hotel stay I’ve had.

Our stay was fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast had a good choice on offer which changed a little each day. The hotel is situated right next to the tram and bus stop so it’s really easy to travel around. If you get a Welcome Berlin Pass online, it’s super easy. Berlin is a fantastic city to visit.

Hampton by Hilton Alexanderplatz

Located close to Alexanderplatz U & S bhan, the Hampton by Hilton offers a well connected place to stay. From the outside it fits in with the other concrete blocks (although a new build rather than Soviet era adaptation) but rooms are excellent sound proofed and comfortable. Breakfast was a superb unlimited continental choice.

Family trip Berlin

Stayed for 4 nights with husband + 11-year old daughter. The beds are only queen size and offers a shared double duvet - please reconsider this! We made do, and the bed was comfortable. Daughter had a queen size sofa bed, a bit softer, but she sleeps very well. The windows were very effective noise cancelling, we heard nothing from the busy street (stayed on the 7th floor) when they were closed. Nice to have a small kettle and instant coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was good: daughter enjoyed the waffle makers. It was very busy, though, so it could be a bit of a struggle to find a spot at around 9 am.

I often stay here. I like it. This time the only problem was inaccessible wi-fi. The receptionist told me my password but that it would take about 10 minutes to connect. However, it did not connect at all. It didn't spoil my stay but it was a pity all the same.

This hotel offers an excellent choice for staying near the bustling Alexanderplatz where you can find numerous dining, transportation, and entertainment options. This is not an option if you are looking for a breathtaking view, although that IS available at the Berlin radio tower which is a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet was excellent and an easy way to start the day. There were cereals, eggs, sausages, pastries, yoghurts, and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a no brainer if you're looking to stay in this area and want a convenient, easy hotel. The ONLY thing I would like to change is not being able to open the window fully, but's that just a nitpicky thing and wouldn't stop me from staying here as the A/C is turned on only in the summer months.
