1. Checkin - Rep checked me in and created a Hilton Honors account without me asking her too. When I found out what she had done I told her no I did not want that and advised I already had a Hilton Honors account with Gold status and advised I was a HGV member.
2. Room was not secure. The door blocker that is supposed to prevent the door from opening was bent and did not provide that level of safety. I called the front desk to repair. The guy came and pretty much did nothing as he thought the concern was with the electronic lock.
3. Room blinds did not roll down to the window seal leaving a portion of the window exposed. The room was facing the front street so having the blinds close all the way was important for privacy.
4. The shower head was terribly rusted and the water pressure was like jets.
5. Room was located on the second floor. We returned from an outing to find a trail of ants forming. We had no food laying out or nothing.
6. We were given a new room however the new room was not a suite and was much smaller than the room I had reserved. This room was not very clean.
7. Food: Not very sanitary. There were open containers. Some areas were not clean. The juice was heavily watered down.

Bad attitude.
We didnโt have too many complaints other than what was previously specified. There was an issue with one of the serving staff members at breakfast who was cursing about having to refill empty food and beverage items . I worked in the service industry and i believe that there is a time and a place for that, and in front of guests, wasnโt it .

Waited over an hour for room to be ready
Waited over an hour in the lobby for our room to be ready, causing us to miss getting to the French Market. This was very aggravating, as we had limited time in New Orleans. Room was nice & spacious. Breakfast was good.

First and last stay!
When we arrived we didnโt know it was $50 a day parking fee. Mattress was to hard, the pillows were standard size pillows on a king size bed. The toilet was loose from the wall. The blinds were off track.

Great trip!
Our first trip to New Orleans. This hotel was great! Suites were clean and roomy. Breakfast was great! Nice little pool. A little out of the way, but quiet. But if you donโt mind walking a bit, it is within 3/4 mile walking to anywhere in the French Quarter. We did not rent a car. Cabs are numerous from the airport. The swamp tour that we did provided bus service. Otherwise, we walked to everything. Tons of great restaurants and shopping and plenty to do! A large homeless population but cops are numerous and we never felt unsafe. Overall, a great trip!!!
