Neat place. Lived it!

Parked right at cabin door. Easy in/out to the mail road. Hundreds of DVDs available in the office to borrow.

Very cute little rustic cabin. We stayed here as a family as we headed to Seward, which was about 30 mins away. Has plenty of room for our family and upstairs was dark enough to get a good nights sleep with the midnight sun. At check in we appreciated that they called to confirm the restaurant across the way was still open, which was delicious. If arriving late, eat before or bring food. Moose Pass is small and limited but adorable. Would stay again

Place was awesome...only 1 issue was the lack of hot water. I was taking a shower when after 5 minutes the hot water went out. My son then took a shower a few hours later and then hot water shut off in about 1 minute. Appears the hot water tank is insufficient. Other than that the place is beautiful.

Great place for family of 5!

Our family of 5 stayed in the Papa Bear Cabin. We were very comfortable and it was nice that the 3 kids each had their own bed! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including the best blackout blinds of any place we stayed while in Alaska. The property managers were very friendly and helpful and we felt at home here. Just a few notes - there are stairs up to the loft of course, so if you’re traveling with very young children that is something to consider. The Papa Bear cabin is closest to the highway and some of the trucks that go past can be a little loud, but it didn’t bother us. There is a great restaurant just a minute away at the Trail Lake Lodge. We enjoyed dinner there one night but I don’t think they offer breakfast. There is a small grocery store nearby too, but I recommend getting most of your groceries in a bigger town before you arrive. From here you can easily get to Russian Rainbow Falls, Exit Glacier, and Seward…all under 30-40 minutes away.

There was NOTHING I was unhappy with. The cabin was immaculate, the staff was helpful, courteous, and accommodating! This is a rustic setting, but perfect for what we wanted, and I would 10/10 stay here again!

We were looking for a cozy cabin property and that’s exactly what this is. Although it is an older property, it was clean and comfortable. Moose Pass is a tiny place but there is a nice little store and coffee shop. There was a restaurant in town but it was not open. Take something with you to eat or carefully check hours of the small shops and also take some plates or bowls if you have your own food. I would stay there again.

What an amazing place to stay! These little cabins are just off the main road in Moose Pass so they are easy to find and access. They are clean, quaint, and very enjoyable. Moose Pass was an great little town. The restaurant down the street served delicious food and the float plane tour company was awesome! If you have a day or two to stay in Moose Pass, we highly recommend it. It's close to Seward and more hiking than you could ever do in one visit! We will definitely go back someday!!

Very quaint and clean. We had the Papa Bear and it looks as if they have raised the floor several inches so the ceiliniare low and you need to squat in the shower to get your hair wet. There is no blow dryer. Would be nice to have hot cocoa for those of us who don't drink coffee There is a nice shared fire pit and covered tables . The hosts were very nice. .

Too early in the season

Has a very rustic feel to it. I was alittle disappoint that the outside common area with the bbq grill for cooking and fire pit was unavailable. The cabin sloped down on one side so you didnt want to put anything that could spill on the counter top. Check in was friendly and fast as was checking out. At check in i was told i could use the kitchen inside where they live since they hadnt been able to get the bbq grill common area set up yet. However i wasnt totally sure if its their kitchen or only for the guests .The living quarters were nice and spacious and clean. Hot water for shower was wonderful. It was a cold weekend which meant cabin was cold so the hot shower did wonders. Besides the common area not being set up the only real issue i have is the price we paid even tho we didnt have use of the facilities. It was quiet for the most part except for the traffic on the hyway . I can see how this could be an ok place to stay later in the season. Bring spider spray. Im assuming the time of season had to do with the amount of spiders .

I loved the cabin we stayed in. It was perfect for us and our daily adventures. I met the owner and he was such a great and friendly guy. I asked him where I could find a bakery for blueberry muffins. He said him and his wife would make them. He told me to come up to the office at 0800 the next morning. He made breakfast for me and my family which of course included blueberry muffins. Such wonderful people. Thank you again so much.

Cute cabin, the owners were friendly, helped store our fish. The shower is a little small with the head kind of low (my husband is 6'1." It was warm in the cabin but they had a fan. We loved the little kitchenette. We had windows open-the road noise was more than we are used to.
