Clean, Convenient, and a Couple of Bears!
The room was spotless, check-in was a breeze, and the location couldn’t have been better. Traffic, however, was a different story — thankfully, the bypass saved our sanity (and possibly our marriage).
We actually spotted two bears in the creek behind the hotel our first night — a true Smoky Mountain welcome! Unfortunately, we visited during Slammedenuff weekend, so traffic was a nightmare and the kids roaming around were... let’s just say “enthusiastically obnoxious.” Still, being slightly off the main strip gave us a nice noise buffer, so nights were surprisingly peaceful.
The beds were a bit firm and the bathroom was cozy (translation: don’t drop the soap or you’ll have to exit to pick it up), but the air conditioner worked like a champ. Overall, a solid stay and definitely worth the money!
