Lovely apartments, very well furnished, exceeded our expectations. Great location right by Lord street, a short walk from shops and restaurants and walkable to the beach and Pleasureland (Though we drove as we have young kids and dog), very close to a park that's convenient for giving the dog a run. Spacious, dog friendly, we were in apartment 4 which is 2 storey and the sky-lights are great for quickly letting out the heat on hot days / nights. Well appointed kitchen / diner and very comfortable sitting room.

Lovely stay with welcoming and friendly host

We were greeted by Dave the owner on arrival who explained everything about the apartment to us and was very helpful in letting us in the room even though we we had arrived slightly earlier than the 3pm check in. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything you could ever need in there. It was a really good size as well with masses of storage. Location was great in that you could walk to pretty much all of the main places we wanted to visit in Southport. All spotlessly clean and clearly well looked after and maintained. I will definitely be back to Southport with the family in the near future and my stay will be dictated by what availability the Shelbourne has.
