The service is great at front desk, executive lounge, swimming pool and restaurant. Early check in allowed if room is available. We checked in at around 2pm. Convenient location. A few minutes walk from exit 13 to 15 Gangxiabei station. Loads of restaurants and shopping facilities in the vicinity. Room attendant of 2/F is nice and responsive to our needs. Buffet dinner and breakfast are ok. Value for money with sufficient variety of choices. Drawback is the smell of smoke at the corridor and near the lobby entrance.

The hotel is old and worn down, it needs some upgrades. The nearest metro station is Gangxia north , exit 13, it is very easy to find . The buffet breakfast is average. The sauna areas is also old and worn down .

Good hotel but need improvement.

hotel room is a bit old but conformable and clean. Staffs are friendly. Door bellman doesn't know the restaurants around the area. Day arrived was cold but air-condition didn't have heat. I asked for a portable heat but it didn't work. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Had an amazing experience staying here for 2 nights last weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even offered to upgrade my room for free. The hotel is in the center of the city and easy to get to pretty much everywhere. The room is extremely clean and comfy, I’d highly recommend this place if you ever plan to visit Shenzhen.

As Muslims it is very difficult when having breakfast because there is no distinction between Halal Food and Non-Halal food. We saw that same spoons and tongs were used for multiple dishes (both for halal and non halal dishes). Some of the dishes at the breakfast buffet was not labeled. Otherwise the hotel was excellent, front office staff were very nice and helpful, excellent facilities.

I requested for a room on the higher floors and away from the elevator during booking. When checked in, I got a room on the low floor and right next to the elevator, and the hotel was not even full. No point of putting in special request and previlage being a Hotels.com platinum member here.

the bathroom door was broken. it was unbearable to open and close the door because the door was out of the track. the bed was two twin beds putting together to make up a king size bed. the breakfast was horrible. the only protein for noodle soup was pork liver and port blood, which made me felt nauseous! That kind of money for such a poor hotel! makes me think twice about the name of Hilton. I have been such a royal customer to Hilton for a while, and this hotel make me feel betrayed by the name of Hilton

The room was not ready for us to check in. We arrived around 3pm. The room was not ready. We waited until 5:30pm but still not ready. We can only go out for dinner first and when we returned at 10:30pm, it was ready. They apologized by sending a fruit plate only. They offered a late checkout but we didn’t need it. The service is really disappointing. If they kept extending the checkout time to apologize unable to checkin, it will become a vicious cycle. This is Hilton, not some random 2star hotel.

I don't understand how this hotel is rated as 5 stars. The room was extremely outdated — the furniture and general setup felt like it hadn’t been updated in 50 years. The shower was disgusting: the shower head was brown and worn-out, there was excessive silicone everywhere in the shower cabin, and visible mold. Room service? Practically non-existent. We tried ordering four times, and each person we called told us to call someone else. In the end, we gave up. That’s just embarrassing for a hotel in this category. We stayed in a non-smoking room, but the entire hallway and nearby rooms constantly smelled of cigarette smoke. People smoked indoors as if it were completely normal — it was a nightmare. The lobby was another disappointment. There's no real seating area — just four chairs. For a hotel of this size and supposed quality, that’s bizarre and unwelcoming. You walk in and there’s literally nowhere to sit comfortably. Another serious issue was the general atmosphere as a woman. Most of the guests were groups of men, mostly from Arabic and Indian backgrounds, and as a woman I constantly felt stared at — not just casually, but in an intimidating and disturbing way. I felt very unsafe going anywhere alone. It felt like these men had never seen a woman before, and I was always on edge. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, especially to female travelers. It was a complete disaster.
