The room itself was very clean and there were no noise problems. The facility doesn't look anything like the posted picture, For the price I paid, I feel that I got my money's worth.

Worst place ever to stay as a single white women!!

They put me in a bedbug ridden room I was eaten up within 2 hours . I complained n then they moved me to a nonsmoking room. Then they insisted that they be allowed to inspect the room daily or they were going to charge my card again for a fee.

I worked there in the late 60's and early 70's when it was the Briar. I worked in the restaurant area.. very quiet area.. room was very clear..only met one person at the desk. He was very nice and friendly

This is definitely the budget option, if all you need is a place to sleep and an outlet to charge your phone, you’re good. Staff is super nice and helpful, I was looking for batteries for sale thinking maybe they had a little shop at the front desk but the nice lady just gave me 2 AA batteries which I’m super grateful for. 2 complaints which I shared with the staff, first the peep hole is scratched up and you can’t see out of it so I let them know they need to replace that and also the Tv is unwatchable because of all the static and snowy screen This place could use some upgrades but you’d probably be paying more for a motel in the mountains if they made the investments. Anyhow, it’s a budget low cost option so don’t expect anything fancy

This hotel did not exist. It was a closed down boarded up property. We travelled 16 hours looking to rest and continue in the morning and were horrified to find the place dark and not operational. We better not be charged for this.

Crappy stay

Mattresses were old and hard felt every spring. The TV was fuzzy on every channel and shower head sprayed in a lot of different angles resulting in the floor being soaked and the bath tub drain was plugged and water drained very slowly.

There were definite signs of bed bugs, arguments outside our door to the street, people stomping upstairs. Counter guy was alright. The room has crumbs in the bed, trash wasn’t cleaned from previous guest, smelled like roaches.

Very poor room conditions

The room was smelling humid. In order to avoid that the owners sprayed the room which smelled terrible when mixed with the humidity. Very poor room conditions. The entrance was under construction. First and last visit to this property. No shampoo and even a soap was provided in the bathroom aswell.

Exposed electrical wiring running up the interior wall without conduit! The wire went through a short divider wall and ran to the back of the TV hanging freely. Broken coffee maker. No ice anywhere on premise. Wow!!!
