1) Waiting outside the front door for nearly an hour
2) Having a man taken you to another address past midnight
3) The sheet had multiple stains on it
4) Change the sheet at 1:30 AM in the night - with another that also has stains on it
5) A smelly fridge with hair in it
6 And mull in the shower
Now they refuse to make a refund

Poor accomunication

The worst place I ever stayed. Beware of bed bugs
Where do I start, my room was freezing in the basement. Bathroom ceiling was moist with mold. My bed had a bed sheet and an old comforter. The shelves was old with gums on it. The desk was old. I found 2 bed bugs. I told the host I was cold, he didnโt do anything about it. I lay down with my coat on and I couldnโt sleep at all. I checked out at 5:45 am because I couldnโt take it anymore . Itโs not worth the money.

Worst accommodation and customer service ever!
I was attending an event at Rogers Stadium & booked this accommodation as it was within walking distance. I received messages with check-in instructions - press door bell & wait. No one came. After a half hour I called the number in the documents. Someone said they would come in 5 minutes; 30 minutes later a member of staff arrived who claimed to have no knowledge of the reservation even though I showed him the printed confirmation. He was uncommunicative, unhelpful and frankly rude and did not show any interest in helping. By this time a couple of young girls had also arrived and he said the property was being renovated so would take them to another one nearby. When I asked why I couldn't also go to this place as well he just shrugged and didn't answer! As I was by now going to be late for the event I had to drive off to get there in time. As all the hotels near the venue were full, and there would not have been time to find one further out, after it was finished I had to sleep in the car! Is this the fault of the completely unprofessional and incompetent property owners or did Hotels.com not send them the booking. This place should be removed from your listings immediately and probably others the same landlord may operate. Luckily no money had been paid but it was more then inconvenient. Do Hotels.com even vet the properties they deal with in any way? It seem not to me. Is there any scope for compensation for the lack of a reserved room?

I donโt recommend this place
The place was clean but there was no other furniture in the bedroom, just a bed. No toiletries provided either. Gave us only 1 towel & have to ask for another 1 coz there were 2 of us. The staff even got upset with us coz we asked for toilet paper. If the place was ready, we shouldnt have to ask for stuff. I know that they are quite cheap compared to a hotel but at least they should make their place more accommodating so guests can come back. The location was good coz it is close to Rogers Stadium.

The room wasn't terrible to just go sleep for a few hours after a night out in Toronto, but it was a very hot day and it had very low AC, we had two big fans and only one was working, bathroom was outside of room and it wasn't cleaned properly, very little water pressure in shower, a towel was offered but it looked like a mop rag. Not terrible overall for a few hours but we won't be booking here again.

Check in was easy & efficient, bed was comfy. The room had 2 fans one didnโt work and the second was broken and rattled, the fridge was dirty and on its last gasp of life. The private bathroom was dirty and had to be cleaned before use. The property had a good location from ttc west finch with shops and take aways close by.

Room was dirty, we requested a new room since owner claimed they have hundreds of rooms and they came and denied. Also booked for 2 nights and ended up staying only 1 night because of how bad it was. They mention no refunds so we took our losses.
