Resort was large and had many rooms. Room was okay, could do with it being renovated as rooms look like they’ve just been repaired numerous times without replacing/renovating. First room had a bit of a gutter smell. Overall was okay and staff were very friendly and helpful. Could call and the staff would deliver promptly. Zoo was excellent and lots of different animals, very different experience to your normal hotel

Great stay !

What is great in this small hotel (27 suites only) is obviously that it is inside the zoo (facing the zebras, giraffes and oryxes area). Take care that only superior rooms have a view on the zzo, so go for these ones ! You have direct and unrestricted access to the zoo. This is a great place to go with kids. All animals in the zoo are used to being fed by visitors and they will constantly come and see you to get food (bring with you bananas from outside for the giraffe as they are crazy about them and get ready to spend AED 100+ to buy leaves inside the zoo for other animals – just avoid the biscuits for the monkeys as they actually do not like them too much and this is wasted money). The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms have apparently been renovated quite recently, there is a small kitchen with a micro-wave. The furniture and carpets are a little bit dated but frankly you do not go to this place for the comfort of the room. The staff is very professional and friendly.

A mixed experience

The room itself is spacious and aesthetic, it comfortable with a small sitting area, dining area. For one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel the amenities are very basic, there was no hair dryer or iron. We ordered room service from the restaurant it took 1 and a half hours to get to us but was tasty when we got it. The breakfast for room service with the chalet was ok like basic take away food in plastic takeaway packaging but was more than enough. I was expecting that there would be a giraffe encounter as part of the giraffe room or a chance to feed the giraffe for the price of the room, this would make the experience better since the giraffes are quite far from view. The rooms needs a few updates like the bedroom broken mirror, the bathroom door needs to be changed. We all really enjoyed the wildlife zoo we saw all the big cats feeding which was very special, the kids especially loved stroking the snakes looking at the owls. There was a very knowledgeable member of staff who guided us through each of the big cat feeding sessions, he shared very insightful facts about the animals. All the other staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids also enjoyed their time at the pool, it's was clean and safe. The life guard was very good in making sure all the kids were safe and let us know if there was any danger. Thank you

A Great Experience

Breakfast let it down but the rooms were clean, staff friendly and free zoo entry for the stay means you can make multiple trips to see your favourite animals. Our room door was opposite some animal pens which gives you a closer experience with some of the animals compared to the zoo experience.

It was good. it is great for Kids, nice swimming pool, but the issue was smell from animals, and conditions of door were bad, and fridge noise in my room was like alarm i had to turn it off. over all i enjoyed good bed, good TV, good internet. parking is small we have to park in zoo parking.

complaint

I would like to raise a complaint in this hotel. They are not accomodating we came early and frontdesk told they will call us if the rooms is ready but they did not however we saw people checking in. Since we complained they gave an old room after waiting for another 30mins. Room no AC and old no toiletries.We requested from the amanger and they transferred us to another room again we waited and again no toiletries we called housekeeping to give us.this hotel does not deserve 8.4 rating at all. in room dining also no food available within the menu they have out inside the room.

birthday trip

It was my partners birthday so they kindly upgraded us from a room to the premium chalet with view of the giraffes! That was amazing! However no towels were provided we had to ask twice and when they arrived no hand towels ect. They have a lovely coffee pod machine but no coffee pods with it and when we requested more supplies those didn’t come with. The chalet was beautiful and the best was comfy! Drove to yas island for dinner as not much is there

We stayed over the weekend in a chalet with zoo view. And this is the way to go. It's a little extra but worth it. You are In a newer part of the Resort with your own check in. The room is big and nicely set up. The chalet have outdoor furniture so we ordered food and had dinner facing giraffes, zebra and deers. It's worth doing breakfast as well. your kids will love it. If you take half or full board you can only order from the restaurant own by the resort. OK for lunch but limited choice for dinner.

Arrived to property in the evening, they gave a very bad room, 1- No light at the front of the room entrance (for safety) 2- The towels at the bathroom are not enough and teared up 3- No hot water in the bathroom 4- the air condition is not adjustable 5- No hangers at the wardrobe The next day I complained at the front deck, so the next night they provide me with a fantastic room.

Stay inside the park

Amazing place, we felt like we were Living inside the zoo. Spotted deers and gazelles were stationed just outside our room. Great breakfast and service as well. We will be going there again.

Excellent for a family visit

The place overall was amaizing, i booked a deluxe room for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids under the age of 6 years, we got room 413 which was on the first floor facing the pool, next time i will definately try to get animals facing room, room was good everything was working properly no issues there, its a 3* hotel not a 4* as mentioned on Hotels.com. the most amaizing thing about this hotel is that its literaly inside the Zoo itself :-) excellent for kids and adult plus you will get unrestricted access to the Zoo for the entire stay !

Open balcony with Zoo View

We booked a chalet with zoo view and is fantastic. You will have a direct view to the zoo and you will see giraffes, deers, zebras, peacocks & etc at your doorsteps. Kids would love it. A mini size zoo but many animals there, including a white tiger. Reasonable price for 3 stars.

ok for few hours

Happiness is that we spent only a few hours at the hotel from 5 pm till 11 pm. Room is big enough but is scary, dark and cold, the bathroom stinks and does not work properly, but we only came for the zoo and we had a flight at 2 am, so our rooms serve as a storage room for luggage. Receptionists were friendly and willing to help. Hotel is very old it needs complete renovation. The Zoo was nice, but it is in Belgrade (Serbia) much nicer and bigger. It's nice that there is a probability of touch and feed the animals.

Amazing place for kids

We celebrated our daughter 2nd birthday, and we were amazed by the staff, animals, park program. Will definitely visit the place again. If you are planning your stay with family go for family rooms as they are located next to the zoo. You got to wake up with zebras and giraffes !!! Amazing!

Had a very good stay over weekend with my family. Staff are very friendly, and rooms are fine. M little daughter was extremely pleased with the hotel being in the middle of the zoo, which we visited twice daily to keep her happy.
