Cozy vibes
Front staff unfriendly, apparently it had been a leak, big fans, humidifiers in hallways. Floor was sunken in going to my room, it was scary, its tge 3rd floor. Room is extremely comfortable, bed was perfect, cozy vibes!!

One Tryp No Enjoyed
We arrived at Tryp about 7:30 PM. I went in and paid $25 for my minature doxy and registered to stay. The desk help Kinisha was official and handed me the key.
When we got to the room it was a bit a shambled. The corners had mold and light switches we caked with dirt. The carpets were stained and obviously not cleaned or replaced from a former guest with a larger dog. There were places where the carpet was shredded, doors scratched, and chewed on. The room reeked of musty oder and the air conditioner made so much rattle we could hear each other.
I went to front desk and let Kinisha know because I didnt want my dog blamed. She kind of shirked me off and said she would let maintenance know the next day. I then I asked to be moved. Kinisha said there were no rooms available. She then asked if I used the bathroom she could not change the the room. I assured we had not used the bathroom and wanted to change to a different room. She made a couple snarky of under her breath loud enough for me to hear her. "You know you can get your money and find a different place. I said no that we drove 8 hours and want to relax. I finally got husband and she found an empty room.. right across the hall. She earlier said there were no more rooms. The new room was better, cleaner, however, the air conditioner made noise all night. The air felt wet and the sheets were damp. Breakfast was ok

Just Ok
It was ok but for what I paid Iโd expect it to be a little better. Room was more pleasant than hallways. There was a dead insect on the window but didnโt see anything else. I understand tons of people are in and out and itโs hot out. Internet was out for about 2days. I wouldnโt stay there again for the price that I paid. Possibly as a last resort or if itโs cheaper.

Unsatisfied
I usually always pick this hotel for a quick stay but this time was different . Upon arrival I inspected the bathroom and hair was on the floor, towels had stains as if someone dropped something on them and housekeeping just folded them back up and left them in the bathroom. No Mirror in the room just a empty spot with nails in the wall. Vent in bath room didn't work , shower was disgusting !!!

Wet Carpet
The air conditioner dripped all night, there was a garbage can underneath to catch the drips, so they obviously knew about the problem. The carpet was damp, we had to get towels from the front desk to cover the carpet so our feet wouldn't get wet.

Dissatisfied
One of the reasons why I choose this hotel was because of the free breakfast. I was very disappointed on the day of check out as the breakfast area was closed due to shortage of staff.
Also for the check in process, I do understand that there is a check in time of 3pm. Me and my husband arrived at the hotel about 2:20pm and we asked if we could check in. We weee told that we would have to pay an extra $30. We were okay with this however, there needs to be consistency with the hotel check in process as my husband stayed at the same hotel about 2 weeks ago and he was able to check in before 2:30pm.
