8/10 Very good

The staff were all very nice and very helpful. I got a smoking room so I didn't expect perfection but it could have been cleaner.

Clean...no surprises!

An older property, but well maintained and had some fresh touches! Room was very clean. No surprises.

Very friendly front desk clerk working night shift. He moved me to a first floor room which I forgot to ask for during the reservation. Rooms are very dated and not super clean but for a place to just shower and sleep it was a get what you pay for place for sure, looks nothing like the photos shown online .

My room had dust on the hangers, and there was cockroaches outside... The last day there was one in my room in my sink!! There were unrepaired holes in the walls

It says free breakfast but they don’t have one. Still using Covid as an excuse but still using free breakfast in advertisement. Linens are old and tile around bathtub broken and stained. The rest of the room was fine.
LISA, 2-night trip

TV only turned on or off. No channel selection or volume control. Plenty small fruit flies and a couple roaches. Door was tricky to open.

Very disappointed

Very bad bed and pillows. Very outdated. We had to change rooms because the television didn't work.

Get what you pay for. It was affordable. Had to clean the bathtub myself before I could shower. Hair, dust and black dirt in the tub. It was that dirty. Uncomfortable beds. Bare minimum on breakfast. One type of cereal. Waffles. That was it. If you’re used to having a nice breakfast, this is not for you. One night stay for us with the grandkids. If you need cheap, this is for you. If you want more frills, you need to go somewhere else.

TERRIBLE HOTEL

This place was absolutely disgusting. Looked decent in pictures, but don’t be fooled. Ended up having to get a different hotel because it was unfit to stay in and weren’t even able to get our money back. When we arrived they said the previous occupants of our room had been making “potions” and it smelled so bad they had to leave the door to the room open overnight to air it out. Like….WHAT?! Also looked like blood ALL over the floor…. Absolutely DO NOT stay at this place.
Evan, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

The room is very dirty and shabby. The bath tub has black mold all around the seal, and leaking. There is no any towels, shampoo/conditioner provided. For Morning breakfast, waffles dispenser does not work functionally. Milk was stored at refrigerator which the door could not close properly, Who knows the milk is good or bad. Anyway, stay away from Econolodge chain motel. You can pay the similar price for much better motel. Very very disappointment!!!

Terrible

The place was built a 100 yrs ago and has never been updated. There breakfast bar consisted of a waffle or a bowl of cereal with a gal of milk in a small fridge. If you were lucky they may have had some coffee. The only good thang was the ac unit in the room. All outside drink machines and ice machines did not work. I will not waste money on this dump next time. Sorry for the bad review but it was just horrible.

Outlet exploded...

The first night, plugged a charger into the outlet and sparks flew. Burned up my charger and the lights quit working and phone wouldn't work. Went to the front office and was kept being told "Everything is fine". No, it's not fine. The outlet literally exploded. Had to ask for a different room. Was given a new charging block to replace the one that was burned. The 2nd room had no phone and no smoke detector. Truth of it, the first one probably didn't have one either.
Lisa, 2-night trip

Rooms were disgusting. Squished roach on door. Fire detectors had wires sticking out. Chain on door was missing. Toilet didnt work in same room. Stains on walls, shower curtains, pillows.
Jaclyn, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come to the reception to give me the room, the reception was alone the whole time, they gave me the room, when I got there, the room was dirty, it smelled bad, the floor was dirty, the sheets, the towels I took one and it was dirty, the bathroom was also in a deplorable, unsanitary condition, there were flies inside the room, the most serious thing is that there was an internal door inside the room that communicates with the room next door, which could not be locked so they could enter from the other room at any time, what a horrible experience, I decided to go down and hand in the key, I could only be in the room for 5 minutes, I could not stand it any longer because of how terrible it was, I do not recommend that hotel to anyone and even less to any woman because of how unsafe it is, I will never return to that hotel.
JUAN, 1-night trip

Quiet literally one of the nastiest places ive ever been in. There were flies and gnats all the room. The air woukd t cool room off. I ended up taking a loss on this room and paid for another room next door at the hampton inn to have a clean place to stay.
Jamie, 1-night trip

Bed bugs. Stained sheets. Flies. Complaint form in room from previous guest. The tv was broken and could not be utilized. Tub was dirty.

The place was falling apart a little bit with some of the towels stained. The free breakfast was okay. It’s not good, but not the worst.

Yikes

You get what you pay for. Spent one night for a ball tournament. The nice man at the desk was helpful and personable. First impression of the property alone was not great but hey, there's a waffle house attached to it. We don't plan on eating the free breakfast here. Our room and I assume it's probably every room smelled musty or of old smoke. Whatever that unwelcoming stank is. Glad I brought a space fan, room spray, and turned on the air conditioner while we were at the ball field day 1. It smelled a bit better when we got back. This place needs a serious deep clean. Bathroom door had months of nasty splatters on it. GROSS! Everything is just very old. Hot water to wash my face but would never drink it. None of us would consider taking a shower and I had to clean the toilet seat. Beds are ancient and not soft. Sheets were clean I guess. There's good bright lights on the parking lot so that's a positive but made me think what kind of crazy is going on here to invest in that expense instead of upkeep. Single mom traveling with two young boys and extremely grateful it was quiet because we were very worried but we stuck it out for one night. We stayed at the front of the property but I imagine other rooms towards the back could get rowdy. Bottom line, pay double if you can afford a better hotel. But if you can't, we did it and so can you if you need to. Personally, wouldn't stay again. The bar for an economy stay is low so your expectations should be too. Good luck.
