Quirky place to stay. Right in the middle of Warwick. Great pub with good food and atmosphere

Good option for an overnight stay

Good price and location, speedy check in, friendly staff, spacious rooms and attractive decor. Food options looked great, but we opted to eat elsewhere as our budget wouldn't stretch to the prices. Bed fine for a one night stay. If I'm being picky, pillows and headboards need replacing, some staining on the bed sheets and scatter pillows and some cosmetic damage to a blind - just needs a refresh.

Nice welcome, easy check in and check out, lovely room and facilities and comfortable bed. The breakfast was superb. We were too late for dinner when we arrived but the menu looked very tasty so we’ll make sure next time we arrive earlier!

Great location, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Kids not as keen on the breakfast options (there’s no accounting for taste!) Would stay here again!

10/10 Exceptional

We had a lovely two night stay in mid-January - great location being walking distance from Warwick castle and various dining options. Easy check in and check out and staff were welcoming. We stayed in a room on top of the pub itself - this is an old building so we were a little nervous it might be draughty, but we were pleasantly surprised by how warm the room was and also the shower pressure was good. Breakfast was excellent!

6/10 Good

Not how it looks on the website, old building which is nice however - paper thin walls - could hear the person snoring like they was in bed with me. Didn’t see any staff apart from checking in. Very tired needs some love. However great location - until trying to sleep when you can hear all the noise from the pubs as well as the couple next door.

Warwick stay

Absolutely loved our stay, staff were really friendly, room was so homely and gorgeous view from window. Lovely having window open, fan in room was brilliant, great TV and lovely coordinated wall paper with mugs etc, fabulous refreshments tray with kettle, coffees, tea bags, herbal teas, hot chocolate, milks, biscuits and spring water. Bed was so comfortable, had great nights sleep. Definitely stay there again. Thank you x

8/10 Very good

Perfect location, not sure ideal for young family.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean spacious family room. The only drawback is the family room 1 is right above pub entrance and you can here all the conversations, shouting and expletives outside which really isn't ideal when you got young children - we've had to drown it out by turning up the TV volume. Plus the bathroom doesn't have a blind so at night if you switch the light on only a mesh curtain is your privacy which is pretty useless. Overall as long as you can cope with the drawbacks it's an otherwise good B&B.

6/10 Good

Handy location

One night stay . Twin room beds were not a full single size , which was a shame , as there is room for 2 x 3ft. It’s an old building so you expect quirks but I had disturbed sleep as when other people move in their room, the floor vibrates in yours .. quite badly. Zero sound proofing between rooms. Nice bathroom etc handy location situated on the square

Nice place for a few nights

Amazing to stay right on top of the pub. Not the most modern building or room, but it is charming

6/10 Good

Perfekt plassert, så sentralt som overhodet mulig i koselige Warwick. Veldig koselig pub/frokost-område. Rommene og badene trenger oppussing, og det samme med trappegangen opp. Overnattingsgjestene fikk lite oppmerksomhet.

A Very Disappointing Visit

Firstly, we arrived at 2:55pm for a 3pm check-in, our room was not ready for nearly and hour. Before being shown to our room, which on this occasion was above the pub itself, we were given a guided tour of the rear of the pub, highlighting the fire escape route and access to the hotel itself when we return later in the evening. This became very relevant much later on. Our room – Room 5 was very large, clean with a comfortable King bed, a single bed plus a fold-up bed. To access this room required negotiating several flights of narrow, twisting stairs. The shower was very much in need of renovation or replacement, the spray from the shower head barely touched the bath, the water falling mostly on to the taps. Eight cartons of Lakeland milk in the room were out of date, dated April 2025. They stopped serving food at 8pm. The bar stops serving at 9pm on Sundays, 10pm the rest of the week. The real issue arose when we attempted to access our room in the hotel, around 10:30pm that evening. the pub was in complete darkness, not surprising as it stopped serving at 9pm. We walked around the line of buildings, most of which was pretty dark, onto Theatre Street, where fortunately, I managed to find an unmarked open gateway, which led to a set of metal stairs leading up the first floor of an unmarked building. I entered a door which was ajar, which led into what appeared to be an employee’s storage area. A second door leading off the is room, led into what recognised as our hotel,
