We had a 3-night stay to attend a wedding locally. All went well until Sunday morning when the breakfast was so slow in our order being taken and its non-delivery before we had to leave. Our complaint was met with courtesy "the kitchen is very busy and every one came in at once". Apologies hardly compensated for no cooked breakfast which we were depending upon. A threat of a poor review must have encouraged the management to email us whilst we were out for the day and offered a refund and apologies for the lack of sustenance. So, we felt satisfied that we were compensated and we think a lesson was learnt. I would stay there again. Our superior room overlooking the canal was worth the extra.
