What a lovely place ! Charming room decorated with taste very functional, in the heart of the sassi in Matera, close to everything by foot, lots of good restaurants around. This is a beautiful & amazing property in Matera! The staff and owner are very warm and attnetive to the guest. They have a great breakfast evryone with traditional foods. Hotel is centrally located , you can walk to restaurants, bar, shops, cathedral and take a hike to the famous caves. We fell in love with this property & the people... will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is made up of several cave-houses, which gives you a very unique experience. Our room was very spacious, with a sitting area separate from the bedroom. Another sitting area outside your door on the courtyard is a great place to enjoy a night-cap. Matera has to be seen at night to be appreciated, and the Corte San Pietro hotel is right in the middle of it, providing an excellent experience.

The location and the hotel itself was excellent, truly a unique experience. However, even it paled next to the service, which was simply the best we have ever received.
