We didn't have a car so that made our stay more inconvenient than we're used to because Cremona does not have public transportation and taxis are not easily found. However, the people in Cremona (like in all Italy) are fantastic, so with help from everyone we encountered we managed to get around. The BIG inconvenience for us was the extremely slow and useless wifi. All 3 of us were unable to access any working wifi in our rooms or the lobby, however I didn't miss wifi at all, my husband got used to it after a few uncomfortable hours, but I was quite amused to see how my 21yo son was out of his element without it. Gave us something to tease him about the rest of the trip! (Don't worry he laughed at himself as well.) The great thing about the hotel is the accommodating service, great breakfast room and food. Had we been more prepared we would have enjoyed the laid back simple charming small town of Cremona more, but due to a last minute change in our other son's concert schedule, we had to stay there overnight. It certainly was an affordable option at such short notice.
