Fabulous stay

Fabulous BnB in a great location. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check in. A nice quiet location only a few minutes drive to shops and foreshore. Added bonus of the pool and spa. We stayed in the Serengeti suite which was large and spacious

We had a short one night stay at this accommodation. The room was large, beautifully styled, with all we needed for an enjoyable stay. Despite it raining during our stay, we enjoyed a hot spa, and even a brisk but refreshing swim in the large pool. The breakfast was plentiful, with a great range of cereals.

Big disappointment

Very noisy, very little privacy. TV too low, and kept cutting out. Bed very small and mattress very hard and lumpy. Didn’t sleep hardly for the two nights there. Upstairs guests thumping around until after 22:00. House looks nice from outside, yard nice, and pool, but hot tub is old and needs a lot of updates and cleaning. Continental breakfast consists of jars of cereals which can be opened by anyone and no telling who’s had access to them. Not very sanitary. Oh and no fresh fruit, two cans of fruit. Did have individual packets of butter and preserves. Did have fresh milk and yogurt. No cookies. Bathroom was nice, good water pressure and comfy robes. Just very small room and not what we had anticipated, from the pictures. No list in room of nearby restaurants or places of interest.

My only regret is that I only booked for one night. The Serengeti room is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There was food to serve yourself breakfast. A great facility and hosts were helpful.

This is a wonderful property to stay at and the owner is very kind and personable. Very clean and spacious, the room, or flat, we stayed in was quiet and cozy. The only criticism I can give it, is that the bed itself was a bit hard for our liking, but otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

We stayed before and after a visit to Kapiti island, and the hot tub and hot shower were just what we needed. Walkable to shops, restaurants and the beach. The breakfast was provided in the room, with a good variety of choices. However, there was limited preparation space so it could be a bit cramped when trying to make food. You definitely should eat dinner out, as there is no where to do dishes other than the bathroom sink. This is not a big issue, but worth noting! Overall a great stay, Simon was lovely and very helpful!
