My family and I booked this stay last minute whilst traveling down from North QLD. Staff were amazing and communication was top notch. The cabin we stayed in was great, however no channels on the TV were working except for ABC and Ch9. Wifi was supplied however didn't work at all. There was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom, but we kept the bathroom door closed and that did stop a lot of smell from seeping throughout the cabin. Overall it was good for a quick stopover while traveling.

I booked for a weekend stay. Told in advance that my time of arrival was in the afternoon but didn't get the key to the place until I called on arrival (the office was closed during weekends). We were upgraded from Wallaby to Possum which was pretty good because it was closer to the pools.

We couldn't lock the sliding door only the flyscreen. There was mould on the ceiling and tile grouting. Body fat build up on the spa jets. Lounge hadn't been cleaned properly and there were stains on the cushions. The vertical blinds on the front door do not cover the entire glassed area and each blind had to be moved individually. Timber venetians were hard to bring down. It was a lovely setting with birdlife and kangaroos.

Lovely spot, quiet and close to beach. Only (minor) negative was that I tried without success a few times to phone, and left messages, to find out after-office-hours checkin procedure. However I did get a very clear text message while driving to the venue, and the procedure was very straightforward.

The site is great, especially with all the wildlife around, we have previously stayed there years ago and decided to stay again this time, the site is well maintained and tidy gardens etc. the room however was very tired and not clean, ceiling fans very dusty, the extraction fan in the bathroom was dirty and looks like it have never been cleaned. the whole room was in need of a deep clean and some love. Based on this experience we won't be back. It was advised with wifi and that barely worked as there is very little phone reception there. The reception is only open limited hrs so we actually never saw anyone.
