Cute little motel with short walk to beach. Room was clean and everything worked as it should. The grounds could use a little TLC. We stayed on a Sunday so it was quiet and had the pool to ourselves. Great dining nearby just a short car ride. You must try pizza at THE FEAST. Just your basic old school Florida motel. Great location for the price.. would stay again.

We really enjoyed the room, especially the good-size refrigerator and the cute bathroom. It had a little screened porch, and the parking was very close. The pool had wonderful cushioned deck chairs and umbrellas. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was not overly crowded, even on a long holiday weekend. There are several restaurants and shopping areas close. The free trolley bus stop is nearby, too. The only thing I would improve is the garden around the pool. It had some weeds and dead plants.

We needed to check out shortly after arrival. Check-in is miles from room. It was late and took us a while to find it. A spray bottle of some kind of homemade deodorizer was left in room. The sheets were filthy.

Smelly rooms

The place was very small but clean. But my HUGE complaint is that they have some type of chemical smell in here that was so strong that I had a hard time falling asleep. I could not find any plug ins or anything that the strong chemical smell was coming from but you need to be aware that some people are super sensitive to heavy smells and chemicals.

When we arrived the room was Not hospitable. Looks like plumber was working in the bathroom and the toilet was disconnected and plumbers tools were scattered across the room in other words room definitely Not ready for our stay. After contacting front desk they informed us No more rooms were available so they offered us to put us in another room in another hotel called Driftwood Inn which was farther and Not close to beach access.

This was our 1st time in Anna Maria. It was a nice little beach town. The hotel was all renovated and really nice! Great location to everything. Easy walk down to the beach, and restaurants and shops super close as well. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! 😊
