The facility operates within a beautiful palace overlooking the canal in this charming small city only 30 minutes to Venice Marco Polo airport. The room and bed are spacious. The bathroom and shower are quite good. Secure offsite parking facility. The town is a jewel, …medieval historic center with lively streets and good restaurants.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was beautiful, large, and very well appointed. Treviso is a charming town and ideal for a day trip to Venice, which was our goal. Saturday required a self check-in process but it was clearly explained in advance. We’ll recommend it to our friends.

Staying in an Italian Mansion

This is a true gem. We chose it because we wanted to spend time in Venice without staying in Venice. Treviso was a natural and Palazzo Bortolan came highly recommended and lived up to expectations. Staying in an old Italian mansion was an experience. Great staff, beautiful room, terrific location on the Sile River, close to the train into Venice , and without the throngs of tourists

Quando arrivi all'Antico Palazzo Bortolan, ti senti subito accolto, il personale è gentile e disponibile, tutti sono attenti ad ogni tua esigenza, premurosi e disponibili a dare preziosi consigli per agevolare la visita alla città. Apprezzatissimo il Caffè letterario al piano terreno dell’edificio e la possibilità di avere a disposizione un parcheggio riservato per l’auto, molto vicino e di facile accessibilità. Il Palazzo si trova in una posizione incantevole, affacciandosi su una delle piazze storiche più belle di Treviso, con vista sul fiume e sul ponte di legno! La camera è pulitissima, silenziosa, dotata di ogni comfort, spaziosa e con un salottino con tv e servizio the e bevande. Nelle immediate vicinanze del Palazzo si trovano tutte le più importanti attrazioni di Treviso, monumenti, Piazza dei Signori, Musei, negozi, un paio di golosissime pasticcerie e qualche localino caratteristico per cenare. Tutto ha contribuito a farmi apprezzare sempre più questa città ed avrò un ricordo indelebile di questo Palazzo Antico e della Scala “Albero della conoscenza”, progettata dall’architetto Paolo Portoghesi che ha curato l’incredibile restauro di tutto il “Quartiere latino”, il complesso dell’ex ospedale civile di San Leonardo, che è stato riconvertito in polo universitario, quartiere residenziale e commerciale, dove spero di tornare a soggiornare ancora !

This is not a hotel or a BnB. Read all of the notes carefully before booking. Check in is only from 3:30 to 8:30pm. They were not punctual for a 3:30 check in either and between waiting for the door and elevator to get access, it took over an hour. It is close to the train station and we were able to book last minute. The associate was very apologetic for the delay but never came down to open the front door or acknowledge how to get up to the third floor so there was chaos of his own making. Our room was in front of the front desk and you can hear everything. Other than the confusion at check in, everything else was fine. Beware check out is 10:30am and also don’t plan on sleeping in as the sun will wake you with little window coverings. Bed was ok and bathroom was ok. Close to city center and transit station.

Treviso i bei canali e cicchetti

È un b&b e non un hotel quindi no reception ma ben organizzato. Il palazzo e l'ubicazione sono ottimi la stanza era vista fiume bella due finestre con arredi in stile il bagno piccolo ma dotato di tutto doccia e bidet e finestra. Consiglierei tende oscuranti perchè dagli scuri filtra cmq luce e prese elettriche a portata di mano per ricarica cellulari . A mio parere un pochino caro.

Poorly managed property

We had alot of problems checking in, and were left outside in the rain for 2 hours with our suitcases, as doors were locked, and nobody there was answering phone calls, whatsapps or emails. We had been trying for 5 hours prior to arrival to contact them, but no answer. They later advised they dont work in the afternoons. For a hotel, this is rediculous.

Check-in complicated, no parking to get to the box with keys. After you get the keys you need to drive to the parking and walk back to the hotel. A/C was not working, Television also not properly working. Breakfast at the near bar is a joke. One dry croissant, coffee and juice - that's it. Never again - for this price you get much more value.

Lovely rooms with a great common area. Picturesque canals right out the doors. Short walk to the train station with direct connections to nearby Venice, Padua etc. Off-site management communicates well, with some time zone delay about check in and breakfast that are non-conventional.

El hotel es estupendo y está muy limpio pero el personal es amable pero demasiado rígido. He tenido la mala suerte de perder una de la smartcards de la habitación, que en NINGÚN hotel te cobrarían y a pesar de haber explicado la situación de estar con fiebre y mala, han cobrado 10 euros pir la pérfida delmplástico, que no cuesta ni 50 céntimos. Me ha parecido un gesto feísimo en la situación que me encontraba. Tampoco puedes dejar el equipaje después de dejar la habitación, así es q mejor planificar para salir e irte al próximo destino. Una pena que un sitio tan especial deje tan mal sabor de boca. Feliz comienzo de año!
