You pay for location, nothing more
So, you basically pay for the location. Room was ok but it needs more working outlets and it's 2025, you should add a charging hub with usb ports and others.

Beautiful hotel, if they could just run it better.
They changed my room from a King sized bed with a waterfront view to a double room with a water front view. There was also mold in the grouting of the shower.

We stay here regularly. Great access to the north end. A bit tucked away and on the water. Great walking along the water too

No air conditioning -unacceptable
We paid ~$1,000 for two nights โ and had a deeply disappointing experience. The air conditioning in our original room was completely non-functional during a summer heat wave, making sleep nearly impossible. Despite reporting the issue early, we were given only a fan and not offered another room until we demanded it late the second night โ and only then were moved to a different building. That second room had working A/C but a broken door that had to be forced open and slammed shut.
The hotel later acknowledged there was an A/C issue affecting multiple rooms but never proactively addressed it or provided alternatives until pushed. They initially offered us just $100 in compensation, which is completely inadequate for two nights in an unlivable room at this price point.
We are longtime Hotels.com customers and chose this property because of the location, planning to return regularly. But this experience โ and how it was handled โ fell far below expectations. Weโre asking that Hotels.com intervene and help secure significantly more meaningful compensation that reflects the inconvenience, discomfort, and mishandling we experienced.

Traveling for a conference. The room had no AC. When I mentioned this to staff, I was gaslit into thinking I was being disrespectful over pointing out the relative "incomplete" nature of the hotel room. I posited that if I had even slightly less than the amount of money required for a stay, I would not be allowed to check-in, but that they wouldn't be disallowed from renting me a room that is missing basic furnishings (for the price). Additionally, the toilet was leaking water which it was ambiguous over whether they resealed ( no one bothered confirming if they did when I left for them to work on it). Should be a 3.5 star or 4 at most.

It unfortunately did not live up to our expectations for the price. Listing said โWater view โ which technically it did, but we were on the first floor and most of the window was blocked by a huge bush!! We came back from dinner and found the air conditioning was not working, along with our room refrigerator. I contacted the front desk and they said a technician would be down shortly after 45 minutes. I went back up to the front desk and said no technician showed up and would like another room. They did upgrade us to a suite which had a nicer view of the water from the third floor and the air conditioner worked for the most part by morning the room was hot again unknown why but we were leaving so didnโt really matter. Just disappointed with the amount of money spent for the one night definitely didnโt meet what we had expected.
