Great hotel. A bit off from the hustle and bustle of Dubai which you really feel during rush hour but the hotel itself is very nice from the room to the all the common areas and really liked that the hotel is connected to the festival city mall which is very large and nice.

When I checked in they gave me the only suite that was on a non-smoking floor and yet it smelled badly of smoke. I asked to change the room and the next room smelled so badly of mold. I was so tired I stayed there and woke on next morning with swollen face since I am allergic to mold. I won’t stay ever again here. On top of that the prices for breakfast and the cafe are outrageous.

Ratio of price/benefits/experience tgis hotel has been one of the worst. I can say that the only employee that really listen and tried to helped me for a request lf late check out was Michale. Two ladies I spoke at the front desk before should work collecting trash and not helping customers at a 5 star hotel..

Bathroom issues.

The only issue I had was with the bathroom. The door for the toilet opened the wrong way and the taps for the shower were 6 feel away! More importantly, there was no lighting above or around the mirror to put your makeup on. The mirror light was below the mirror. At least provide one of those small lit makeup mirrors, because you know - women travel too and we wear makeup!

Great service!

Service is excellent. However, the place is probably due for an upgrade. The bathroom had some mold in the ceiling. The food variety is great. However, the quality varies from one one type of food to another. A change that I did not like was charging for coffee and drinks in dinner. We were upgraded but we had to decline because the 1 bedroom suite had a film on its windows which blurred the view to the creek. I think the window films are there because of the video projection on the building at night. They need to do something about this.
