It was good until my room was unsecure...
I'm going to be very fair in this review. The gentleman at the front desk was helpful. Check-in was quick and pretty easy.
One of the things that bugged me right off the bat was they are using paper key card holders that are so old that the blue color has almost rubbed off of them and the key cards inside the holders were so rough they looked like they've been run through really fine grade sandpaper.
The biggest issue I had and the reason why it's three stars instead of four or five is that when I came back the third day my door was open by 2 in. I had closed the door and double checked it before I had left. My dog was in the room. Luckily he is a homebody and won't go anywhere without me. When I found the room open and I came in he was already growling and barking. That's unusual for him when it's me coming in the door. It tells me somebody else tried to get in the room. Whether it was somebody nefarious or the housekeepers I can't tell you. But my Doxie scared them so much that they did not dare enter. My advice is to keep your valuables with you or hidden to the best of your ability if you're staying here.
Otherwise for the most part it's a very quiet property. You get a few people who are allowed at night but in what motel don't you. There are a bunch of people who are living there or at least seem to be living there. It's right next to the amusement park which is kind of nice if it's open. The pool seems to be permanently closed.
Would I go back? No
