We enjoyed the view, food, many of the employees are friendly and nice. Unfortunately our room had internal leaking and we couldn't enjoy the Jacuzzi, and the support team didn't get us a proper solution for. We would visit them again, but this first time we can't say we had the best overall good experience. Also we tried 2x to reserve the Ayami or US Food restaurants, and we couldn't, so why promoting something we can't even use ?

On our first night we found a HUGE roach/Insect in our room. It took us a hour to trap it once we knew it was in the room. The food quality was horrible and limited. The variety and the portion controls were a major turn off as well. The drinks were also watered down. The staff was not very helpful. They acted like they were bothered working there. The WiFi did not work in our room and the TV reception was horrible. If you stay in this resort be prepared not eat because all food services shut down at 10 pm.

The property itself is very clean and very pretty, the adult side is much smaller and quieter but you're welcome to go over to the other side which is larger and more lavish

The resort is very good in general. It's about 20 minutes from the airport. It's very clean. The staff are very helpful (always available). There's a superb, well-appointed beach with a superb view of the ocean. Restaurants are good (food generally good). Room service is also good.
I find, however, that it lacks pools (only 2).
They will try to sell you a VIP membership. After check-in, you'll be offered a private tour of the land with breakfast. Then, a salesperson will take 2 1/2 hours of your time to convince you to buy a very expensive membership. You don't have to buy. Just say no politely and move on. You can also refuse the private tour right from the start.

The property was very nice, the rooms could use some updates and slight repairs. For the most part, the staff was friendly but we did encounter a few who were a bit rude. We enjoyed most of the food with the exception of the Asian restaurant. The crowd was mostly 50 plus with a few millennial guests but overall, I enjoyed my stay.

VIP was not recognized even when I talk with front desk about it. They told us that is not something from the hotel, that is Expedia who indicates VIP to sell it more but they (hotel) are not entitled to recognize the VIP status.
At the 3rd day they call me about give another room to us with better air conditioned, but the, still indicating is not due to the VIP mentio ed in Expedia is because they wanted to do so. We refuse the room.

Prior to arrival I emailed to have a honeymoon surprised for my wife and I didnโt get it till I went back to the front desk to get the champagne I asked for. I also followed up about a room upgrade for our honeymoon and that wasnโt done. They put a happy anniversary ribbon on our door instead of honeymoon.
