Stayed in a single room for a couple of nightsโ break, and couldnโt really fault it. Room and en-suite were clean, bed was comfy, good use of the space for storing my things, good TV and available channels, and a great location right by the beach. Also their own parking - it was full when I arrived due to a wedding taking place at the hotel, but space soon cleared a little later on so that I could move my car from the promenade to the car park.
The only slight downsides were lugging heavy bags up and down lots of little sets of stairs (but to be expected in an older building with an interesting and quirky layout), and all of the doors were very heavy which meant lots of noise from other guests coming back to / leaving their rooms and letting them slam at all hours. Neither of these things would stop me coming back though, the pros very easily outweighed the slight cons!
