Room 215 Review
We booked a room with two king beds. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately, it had a very unpleasant odor.
When we first entered, it smelled as if someone had been smoking inside. After returning from dinner, the smell had gotten even worse, and we had to open the windows to make it bearable. The contrast between the rest of the hotelโwhich was fresh and cleanโand our room made the issue even more noticeable.
I reported this to the front desk the next morning. The staff member was polite and offered to let us change rooms, but we would have to wait until other guests checked out. Unfortunately we had a hike planned the morning. While we were out on a long hike (Silver Falls, 7.5 miles), later, my family became too tired to pack and move, and since we were leaving the next morning, we decided to stay put (our choice).
Unfortunately, the odor lingered throughout our stay. It smelled as though something had soaked into the carpetโalmost like urine.
