On arrival, we had to call a customer number for code access to the room, standing in "reception" was already an ordeal as the place was in such a state. Got the access code and headed to our number nine room. The walk to the room was an absolute an eyesore, bins over flowing, rubbish everywhere, open cupboards full of junk! Got to our room and opened the door and the smell of dampness was awful. The room had broken lamps, food waste, the fan was filthy, bathroom was disgusting, broken toilet seat. Tried to contact the property and was told that They would send me an email so I could log my complaint and send the photos. The email never arrived, I asked hotels.com to step in and they also failed to get a refund from the manager.
