The Gresham is a beautiful historical building, centrally located, but the interior seemed poor with worn furniture and cheap looking plastic plant decoration everywhere. The furniture in the room seemed stylessly thrown together. Very disappointing for us: We booked a Superior Room, which was pictured with a large window front, but despite our explicit request for a bright room, we ended up with a room (403) with small windows and, to top it all off, a view partially of a dark roof directly in front of it. It was also noisy day and night, presumably from the central ventilation system or something like that. The bed linens were tucked up backwards. Not so easy to feel comfortable with all this.
