It has very basic facilities for staying. Check-in time is too late. It's 5 pm. Heater in side the cabin does not warm up the cabin much. Sleeping bag is required regardless of existance of heater.
If you need a very special experience, Curry village is the answer.
This tent-type accomodation is so unique and also pretty close to Yosemite.
But, for the person needs 'comfort', this tent could be the terrible choice.
At night, temperature falls down to 14 Celsius below in Summer. Be prepared for the unexpected cold weather. Remember. this is the tent, not a hotel.
was very intersting experience to stay in very unique type of accomodation. I have stayed the room with heater so no concern on being cold. When I stayed, we had heavy snow. So without snow, I believe lots of people might be very freezing. I was lucky since the heated room is very nearby bathroom/ shower room and food court so was convinient. Bath room and shower room are relatively well managed clean.

Bad Experience
It was winter, but I did not know. They sold unheated canvas, but we could not sleep in the unheated canvas. They should not sell or should notify exact environment with weather condition during reservation.

Nice hotel
It was a nice hotel because the location of the hotel was nice. Food was little bit different to common hotel. It was like food court. The environment was fantastic, if u have 2 nights it is nice hotel to stay. Outside was cold, but heated tent was warm, sometimes hot.

Good location
Good location and facilities, spacious cabin but dry inside during the night
Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed. The communal dining hall is very good, reasonably priced, and has a nice atmosphere in the evening. The pool has stunning views straight up to Glacier Point, and with the adjacent shower block is very welcome at the end of a hot day. The on site store has an ATM and is well stocked for basic needs including simple self catering.

Into the Wild
The location is perfect for visiting all Yosemite Valley. It is surrounded by wild nature and sometimes you can even spot animals like squirrels, deer and bobcats inside the camping space. The only two negative marks in our opinion are the poor cleaning (there was a large number pf spider webs stuck in the corners) and the absense of power outlets inside our tent. Bathroom cleaning was average, just like in all camping locations with shared services.

great accommodations for hikers
this place was great, keeping in mind that you are essentially camping in a permanent tent cabin. the provided cots were comfy enough to rest after days of long hikes, and the "lodge" was a perfect place to find food and drink after a long day on the trails. at the end of the day, you are in the middle of yosemite valley, so how bad could it really be?!

Perfect location
Although Curry Village is technically camping, it was wonderful. It is much better to stay in the valley and camp than have a hotel outside of the valley. Once you park you really don't have to use the car again if you don't want to. Curry Village is located in a beautiful location and everything you need is near there: rafting, bicycles, shuttle bus, pizza place, cafeteria, store. I am not a camper but when the weather is perfect like it is in July in Yosemite Valley, it is great and easy. The price was right for the valley. Stay at least 3 days in the valley and make sure you go on the rafting float. It is beautiful.
