That was our best experience in a Punta Cana hotel by far. We went to celebrate birthday and anniversary and we had a great time. Hotel, staff, pools, bars, dining options, everything was great. The check in process was smooth with Preferred front desk agent Luis. We stayed at the Villas and Alvaro was our assigned butler, he did a great job. Our housekeeper (Betania) did also a great job. In the Villas pool bar, our bartender Emanuel was amazing, as well as the pool butlers in the Preferred pool (Yoenfry, Johan, Alexander and Christopher). In the buffet during breakfast and lunch, our servers (Nataly, Elisa and Geidy) did also great. Finally, our spa experience was one of the best we ever had. Leoncia and Olga were amazing. Overall it was a great experience and we'll be going back next year.

From the moment we arrived at this breathtaking resort, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality. The reception staff, especially Ledriannys, ensured our check-in was seamless and made us feel like VIP guests from the start. The resortโs amenities are nothing short of spectacular. The pools are pristine, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure every guest is comfortable, whether itโs by delivering drinks with a smile or setting up the perfect poolside experience. The entertainment team brought so much energy and joy to our stay. Their enthusiasm was contagious, making every show, activity, and event an unforgettable experience. Whether it was live performances, games, or themed nights, they ensured guests were always entertained. The food at the resort is a culinary delight, with a variety of dining options to suit all tastes. The buffet was always fresh and well-stocked. The coffee shop was a daily highlight, offering rich, flavorful coffee and delectable pastries. Great property if you want a quiet stay. Not much for young people to do, but lovely if you want a relaxing quiet vacation. Clean resort and amazing staff. Beach needs work (in progress). They need to have more evening activities for adults. i.e pool table, foosball, casino, dark, pinball, arcade games, board games ect.. Miguel at the Pickleball Courts was awesome.

we booked back when it was still margaritaville and not dreams. when we arrived, we were greeted by kind people and that stayed the same throughout the visit. everyone was so nice and always said hello. a few issues we had (very small, not a big deal): our tv did not work which was fine since we didnโt stay in the room long but it wouldโve been nice to watch before bed; we were under the impression when booking that it was adults only, but there were many kids around. it didnโt ruin our trip but we had gone with the idea it would be adults only. some of the restaurants are only open a few days of the week, so we never got to try the Caribbean place which my boyfriend really wanted to try. aside from all that, the food was good, everything was clean. our butler was soooo kind and helpful. the beach right outside the resort is rocky so we didnโt get to swim in it much but we just walked a bit and found a better swim area. again, not a big deal for us. overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend to others & come back as well!

No accessible beach within the resort, Machine work braking up rocks caused the area with cabanas and chairs unusable. The resort is going through a transition from Margaritaville to Dreams which showed with the staff not being trained. I sent several emails only because they keep transferring the complaint but finally after being
close to being called a liar because we were told by the front desk that no changes from Margaritaville to Dreams would take till place 6/25. Which wasnโt the case. We were also told we should have read the review about the beachโฆ So here your warning. Itโs in transition and you should past this resort by till the transition is complete probably 2026/27 itโs no dream, although the layout and resort is beautiful the staff and food were inconstant.

The property and staff were great. Some of the amenities were hard to access or find. The ATM did not work. Nobody had change so I could tip staff. It seemed like a tactic.

Everything and everyone there was exceptional! ESPECIALLY our Butler Modesto! When we arrived to the Resort we found out that The name of the property had been changed to Dreams Cap Canaโฆ which was fine, then we found out we had been UPGRADED to Preferred Guests that was the icing on our Anniversary CAKE! EVERYTHING from there was TOP TIER! This was the BEST Anniversary vacation to date! The Staff was EVERYTHING to ask for during your vacation. We have NOT 1 thing bad to say about Dreams Cap Cana! We hope to visit again soon in the near future and will request Modesto as out Butler again 20 out of 10!!!

More like a 3*, definitely not 4 or 5.
My observations:
Staff - Servers and bartenders very nice, however you will be constantly solicited by staff aggressively selling excursions, upgraded food and alcohol, spa services, and vacation club. While sitting by the pool, we were approached by someone every 30 mins which got quite annoying after the first day. You will also be offered a resort credit to sit through a vacation club presentation. Donโt fall for it! Our room also had concierge service, but I really donโt know what their function is, as no reservations are required for dining.
Rooms - Our room was basic, but had a nice ocean-view balcony and an upscale bathroom with soaker tub and rain shower. All sounds great except that tub and shower were exposed to the rest of the room which could make getting washed a little awkward depending on who you are sharing a room with. You will have zero privacy. At least the toilet was in a separate water closet.
If your room is in the same building as the main bar as ours was, be prepared to not get to sleep until after midnight as the nightly entertainment is outside in front of the bar. Entertainment starts at 8pm and moves inside to the sports bar/night club around midnight.
Food - Food was just ok, more like 3 star than 5. Buffet had lots of options so we always ate well, especially at breakfast. Other restaurants were hit and miss.
Entertainment - Typical resort singing/dancing, ok but nothing memorable.
