Great overall, laundry service is terrible
Overall, the stay was good. The room had a couple small cosmetic issues, but nothing that really matters. It's almost impossible to get anyone to answer the Sun Club phone extension. Consierge will answer regularly, but if you're a Sun Club member, they refer you to Sun Club again. My only serious conplaint was about laundry service. There is a $100 USD deposit on laundry service and the balance is credited to you once the service is done. After I paid the deposit, the service wasn't picked up for over 24 hrs and the Sub Club phone calls went unanswered. I had to take my laundry to the Sun Club for them to take to laundry. ANOTHER 24 hours later, I had to go back to the Sun Club desks because the calls went unanswered again. Housekeeping wasn't answering for them, so I was told to wait longer. "Nothing more can be done". Laundry was returned after 10pm. My laundry credit wasn't mentioned at checkout, I had to ask about it. They took my email address and I was supposed to receive an email to issue my balance. Still waiting on the email 8 days later.
The facility is great, the staff is great, the food is all pretty good. Definitely enroll for the Sun Club and definitely go to the spa. Stay away from laundry service.

Property is a bit run down and needs more maintenance. Lots of ants in the room. We were Sun Club members but that didnโt really give much perks, if anything itโs more of a hassle and not a perk. Because youโre placed in the 8th building to the extreme end of the property while all of the main attractions, restaurants, etc are in the main building so itโs quite a walk and a bit lonely and scary at nights. If you want a drink after 6pm or if youโre hungry, WALK from end to end of the property and then up flights of stairs because thereโs no elevator. Limited options of restaurants and they only have a few open per night so the lines were super long, always 12-15 rooms infront of you so it takes atleast an hour to get seated. Room service and front desk NEVER answers the phone so imagine walking from one end of the property to the other end just to order some food. And the AC in our room was not working properly, itโs worse than a fan. 2nd day very early in the morning we asked for a fan for the 2nd night and they said it will be sent to the room. We asked about 4 different times that day for the fan and they never sent it. Ended up spending the entire vacation without the fan ever being sent and no one even bothered to inform us why. On top of that, โsunclub special extensionโ doesnโt even answer the phone!!! The pool closes at 6pm which is ridiculous especially since the sun sets after 7pm so I really donโt know what special โperksโ you get being a sunclub member.

Resort desperate need of remodeling. Felt like a rundown hotel, motel, holiday inn. But the WORST thing was when we arrived we checked in they gave us the royal treatment. Sent us to our rooms. We got to our room it was 95ยฐ, floors were wet with sweat. No AC and no power to room. I shouldโve known something was up when guest were walking past me towards guest services looking very unhappy.
Anyway. The building had lost power due to unforeseen circumstances outside of their control. My issue it had been out since 5 am that morning and we arrived at 4pm in the afternoon! They NEVER said a word at check in. Several angry guest were up at guest services, and we were requesting to be put in another building. There were no available rooms. Finally the manager showed up and assessed the situation. There was no ETA for when service would be restored. Eventually were weโre allowed to cancel for a full refund. I havenโt seen the refund yet, but will continue to track it down.
We were left to find another place on our own at the last minute. Thank God we were able to find something. It was a much nicer place and better location! All in all everything worked out.

Resort was beautiful and they had events every night which was great BUT the food was meh, drinks were weak, lost electricity for an entire day and found a cockroach in our room. They did nothing to accommodate us for the loss of power and the icky bug we found in our bathroom. Overall not terrible.

The amenities of the property are very good. And the area it is located is excellent. The private beach is extraordinary. The food is not so great because it is all inclusive and the bathroom could use a update

Fรผr eine Hochzeitsreise, wie bei uns der Fall war, leider mehr als enttรคuschend. Die Zimmer sehen auf keinen Fall so aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Sauberkeit ist mangelhaft. Der Service ist schrecklich: man wird entweder ignoriert oder schlecht behandelt. Das Essen ist von niedriger Qualitรคt und immer gleich. Trotz Buffets muss man bei jeder Mahlzeit mindestens 5-10 Minuten auf einen freien Tisch warten. Viel zu wenige Liegen und vor allem Sonnenschirme: man muss um 6 Uhr aufstehen, um einen Sonnenschirm zu bekommen, denn alle reservieren ihre Plรคtze ganz in der Frรผh. Fรผr europรคische Standards ist dieses Resort nicht das, was er verspricht. Auf keinen Fall 3 oder 4 Sterne wert oder auch nur die Hรคlfte vom Geld, was man hier zahlen muss.

My shower water was never hot, the room constantly smelled like sewage, mildew, and poop. However, everything else was fine. The best part about the resort is the people that work there, the alcohol, the beaches, and the ice cream. I cannot say that I would come back to this resort again.

First room (junior suite) had a small kitchenette but no pots, pans, dishes, silverware or glassware so that was a waste. Then the music from the pool area and the neighboring hotel was so loud so late into the night, I asked for a room change. For that, I had to wait another day and accept a "voluntary downgrade", which meant they wouldn't credit me the difference in cost. That room was quiet, but in poor condition (missing a closet door and a shower door, the toilet leaked, all but 1 drawer smelled weird). The food options were not great and too repetitive. I ate a lot of ice cream because I was hungry... Best thing was the beach, but you had to get there early for a lounge chair that wasn't past it's prime. I won't go back there.

I would say everything was just as expected for an 4 star hotel .. only thing that was surprising to me was the room furniture they were very worn out and shout out Macy the Jamaican girl up front wonderful job and housekeeping did great

The property is outdated. My room was large and was tidy, the bathroom was horrific. Difficulty getting into the 3 inside restaurants. Buffet was ok at best. The pros were the location and the staff!!!

The buffet options was good enough and the food was tasty..The bar service however left alot to be desired. Felt like we had to beg to be served and the glasses used at the bar to serve customers were in a deplorable condition and should be replaced.
