Wet Carpet and Mildew in Handicapped Room Terrible
First of all, the staff employees were excellent in every way possible. The problem was the handicapped room I received (room 102) smelled of mildew upon arrival. I stayed in that room Friday, 15 Aug 2025, in the middle of the night the mildew smell got worse. I went to investigate the issue and found the air conditioner or something near the air conditioner was leaking water so much so that the carpet at least one fourth of the carpet in the room was drenched wet. I went to the front desk and told the employee what the issue was and he said heโd let the next crew know about the issue and would change me to another room. Upon my return that afternoon 16 Aug, I went to the front desk to see which room Iโd be moving into. There was know notes left about the issues of room 102. So I asked the next person to come see the problem, she said they werenโt allowed to go into the room. I wanted to prove to them the wet carpet, the mildew smell intense and my need to move room. They inspected the room and confirmed the carpet was indeed drenched with water and moved me to room 201. Once on the second floor there was a problem with the air in the hallway and the stench of mildew again. The door to room 201 would not close on itโs own and stayed ajar. This property is in need of repair. I request a refund for not getting the handicapped room due to my severe disability i almost fell getting in and out of the tub while in room 201 and the horrible condition of room 102 my cell 937-231-3997
