No se porque lo tienen tan descuidado, la alberca completamente abandonada, tiene una lámpara adentro que se ve rota y colgando, supongo que por eso no prenden la iluminación por la noche y se ve triste, los mosaicos de adentro se están cayendo. En diciembre también me hospede ahí y nos comentaron que iban a remodelarlo y pues todo lo contrario.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, está prácticamente frente al mar y saliendo tienes el adoquín en dónde hay restaurantes, tiendas, farmacias y te puedes desplazar a pie fácilmente. El hotel cuenta con un pequeño estacionamiento y afortunadamente encontramos espacio para nuestro auto, no hay restaurante. El check in estuvo regular, no aceptan tarjeta, solo efectivo y esto no fue notificado previamente. La habitación está aceptable, tiene buen tamaño, ventilador, dos camas, aire acondicionado TV y un baño amplio, la limpieza también aceptable, el inconveniente es que había muchos mosquitos dentro, afortunadamente llevábamos repelente. A mí llegada solo tenía una toalla de baño y éramos dos personas, además la toalla estaba manchada, al solicitar la segunda toalla me dijeron que no había disponible porque las estaban lavando, nos fuimos a cenar y a mi regreso volví a solicitar la segunda toalla la cual fue entregada, al pedir el cambio de la toalla que estaba sucia me la negaron, pero insistí hasta que me la cambiaron. Dentro del hotel hay una pequeña alberca pero no estaba muy limpia por lo que no la usamos y preferimos la playa. En el área de playa hay un pequeño techado y algunas tumbonas disponibles. El patio del hotel luce algo sucio y desordenado, es algo que pueden mejorar. En resumen es una opción aceptable, la tarifa considero que es alta para los servicios que ofrecen pero entiendo que nos hospedamos en temporada alta y los precios se incrementan.

I arrived at hotel to book for the night, connected to their wifi but it was very slow and got disconnected and the site ended up changing the dates with a new session that I didn’t notice til my confirmation. Staff was unwilling to cancel the booking even though this all happened directly in front of them.

Hotel Playa Zipolite is right on the Main Street in Zipolite, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, on one side and direct access to the beach on the other side. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is super friendly.

Great location. Rooms have been updated with nice bathrooms, fridge and AC units. Needs a safe to store valuables and passports. Beach towels were not easily accessible. Some days you could get towels and on some ocassions beach towels were denied by the front office. Pool area was dirty. Pool had leaves in it and the water was murky. Outdoor beach areas had limited seating and frequently were full of empty cans and garbage.

Property was nice and very reasonably priced for being on the beach. They had a nice shaded patio area facing the ocean for reading and relaxing. Pool area was nice, but I didn't spend a lot of time there. Staff was very helpful and professional. The only complaint is that the power went out for 24 hours. A bit of an inconvenience but I would stay there again.
