My stay was OK given the overall experience. I'm borderline wanting to say poor, but some things are out of the properties control given location and demograph. There were a lot of homeless around. My first night, someone was literally camped out directly below my room window. Like leaning against the exterior wall of my room. It was cleaned up the next morning though. The road is almost unbearably loud, insulation is obviously lacking. The room smelled horrible, and the lounge chair was gross and I wouldn't even place my suitcase on it. The facility is actually pretty nice and modern, but I didn't sleep well at all between the road noise, foul smell, and a non stop dog barking in a homeless camp about 40 feet from my window. The place is trying, but Portland is not exactly working to help businesses stay comfortable. My room wasn't made up after my second night, no big deal, but I had to request more towels from the front desk. The hallways smelled like marijuana smoke, and people were openly smoking it all around the entire property. This is NOT a family place, not for kids, and not for anyone looking to relax. Just a bed and shower.
