Fantastic hotel for a family of 4

We needed a stop off for one night on the way to the west coast of France - and this turned out to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Welcoming staff, very comfortable room for a family of 4, an amazing outdoors area (tennis / table tennis / pool / lawn area) with good food and drink provisions. One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had!

Convenient location for the motorway when heading south. Easy parking and a couple of good restaurants within 5 minutes walk on the nearby campus. The public areas of the Novotel are nice but the bedrooms are showing their age a bit and the bathrooms need updating. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were friendly.

Lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly. Nice clean room, decent size. Very welcoming entrance. Nice looking pool area (we weren’t thrrr long enough to stay). Great breakfast choices. It is not near the centre of Rouen, but we were only passing through so worked really well for us. My family all said we would stop there again in future years.

There was a rubbish container just outside my windon, maybe it could have been covered with tarpaulin or similar. Not very nice sight. Toilet need proper descaling / bleaching. Good service and comfortable bed.

Gutes, angenehmes Hotel bei Rouen

Wir waren 5 Nächte im Novotel. Das Hotel hat leider keine Einzelzimmer, so mussten wir zwei Doppelzimmer buchen. Es liegt sehr ruhig am südlichen Rande von Rouen. Das Zentrum ist mit dem Schnellbus T4 sehr gut und schnell erreichbar. Die Busstation liegt etwa 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Wir hatten recht grosse, angenehme Zimmer und Nasszellen (Duschen). Für ein 4-Sterne Hotel vermissten wir einen Schrank, um die Kleider zu deponieren. Dazu stand lediglich eine kleine Ablagefläche zur Verfügung. Essen: Das kontinentale Frühstück war sehr gut. Insbesondere geschätzt hatten wir das dunkle Brot mit Kernen. Beim Abend-Menü besteht noch Luft nach oben. Gemüse-Teller oder Menüs mit viel Gemüse standen nicht zur Auswahl.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer für eine Nacht gebucht. Sehr gut fanden wir die bequemen Boxspringbetten sowie das Kontinental-Frühstück. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Wir reisen jeweils zu zweit, schlafen aber getrennt. Leider gibt es in diesem Hotel (wie in vielen anderen auch) keine oder nur sehr wenige Einzelzimmer. Deshalb mussten wir zwei teurere Doppelzimmer buchen.
