My stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. To start, when we arrived, the entrance was blocked by a semi-truck, making it difficult to even get to the lobby. Once we got inside, the front desk staff was unprofessional and rude, which didn’t exactly make us feel welcome.
The hotel claims to be 100% smoke-free, but my room clearly had a lingering smell of smoke. There was a designated smoking area, but other guests ignored it and smoked wherever they wanted, making it impossible to avoid the smell.
The room itself was uncomfortable. The bed was extremely hard, and the "bedding" was just like three thin sheets. If you get cold easily, I highly recommend bringing your own blanket. Additionally, the door trim looked like it had been pried open, hanging off the door like it hadn’t been properly repaired or maintained.
The bathroom wasn’t any better. The shower faucet leaked continuously. The elevator was dirty and in poor condition, with a missing cover around the buttons and random spackle on the wall.
The pool area was another major disappointment. The jacuzzi had clearly been "filled" with a tree, but it looked like a half-baked attempt—just a tree surrounded by muddy water. It was both unappealing and concerning.
To top it off, both nights of our stay, we were woken up around 4 a.m. by loud water running through the pipes, which was impossible to ignore.
Overall, this hotel was a huge letdown. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
