Dirty, leaking , and overall unsafe. Changed rooms several times, each room was just as bad. Several other guests were also trying to switch rooms. After the 5th dirty room, I left and checked into another hotel. We had two days left at Candlewood which they refused to refund.

Not a fan
The property upon arrival is confusing. There was no signage as to where to enter. The check-in staff, AJ, was very kind. That was the main highlight of our stay. The hotel was quiet, but in very poor condition, especially cleanliness-wise. There was mold on the bathroom exhaust fan. There were stains all over the carpet, both in our room and in the hallways/common areas. The flooring in the kitchen area was peeling up. The hotel also smelled - our room was humid and smelled like feet. The lobby area reeked of smoke, as staff and guests would smoke very near the doors, despite the โ100% smoke free propertyโ signs. We were staying with our infant and all of these issues made us uncomfortable.

I went on a weekend trip with my husband and 3 kids. We were arriving later in the evening. The hotel called at almost 11pm and informed me that the room I booked wasnt going to be available the 1st night. Instead of a room with 2 beds, we were booked into 2 separate rooms. Which would have been fine, except we were charged the same price, even though the rooms book at different prices. We were required to reload our stuff back in our car after the 1st night because our double room wouldnt be available until later that afternoon, but the hotel needed to be able to clean and rebook the single rooms. Run down. Dirty. Hair all over bathroom. Stains all over carpet and couch! I do not want to know what the stains are. Rooms smelled. Bed had decent bedding. Needs to updated and inspected. Maybe reevaluate corporate leadership. Get on those corporate jets and get in field and see what your establishment look like and how they run. Oh and donโt tell them when you visit. Not rocket science.

The room next door to us was talking until 4 in the morning stopped for a little while and started up again at 7. They where so loud. The room was dirty and missing many items in the kitchen. also, part of the door was coming off that was on the bathroom door.

Family trip
It was decent. The area wasnt too bad and there was shopping close by and places to eat. Parking was a little rough and limited but it was fine.

It wasnโt as good as the last time we went due to the AC/Heater not working property and didnโt have pots and pans in the kitchen so we went back to the front desk but the girl said that she didnโt know how to access the kitchen stuff but they did give us some the next day.

My main complaint is with the way they charge you for your room. I booked it at $88 taxes etc to be added later. I went to pay for the room, they wanted the $103 for room, taxes etc. But then another $100 for "incidental's". I said no, that is charged if I leave the room a mess, take something etc. That is not charged before I even check in. The clerk said, and I quote "I got you". He got me alright, charged me $50 instead of $100. No I am fighting to get my $50 back. I will never stay at this hotel again.
