We unpacked all our belongings in the first room, only to discover a few hours later that the door wouldn’t lock from the outside. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to another room and told that someone might fix it and we could return the next day. The next morning, we woke up to a flooded floor. At the reception, they casually mentioned, “Oh yes, you’re not supposed to touch the AC”—which we had only turned off because it was freezing. Once again, we had to pack and move to a different room, which didn’t even have a safe. By then, it was already our second day, and no one had fixed the door in the first room. When we asked about the safe, we were told, “If there isn’t one, then there isn’t.” We were offered four other rooms: one with a broken door, another with a flooded floor, and two without safes. The only “solution” they suggested afterwards was for us to check out, which was not what we wanted.
On top of all this, our room was never cleaned during our entire stay—not even once.
