Everything was pretty good with the exception of customer service. When we first arrived and entered the lobby (bags in tow), the young man at the front desk just looked at us. He didnโt welcome us, or greet us or anything. He just stared until I broke the ice and said good evening, I have a reservation, weโre here to check in.

Renovation was a surprise, unexceptable finishes.
The person who checked us in, was very proud to say that we were staying in a newly renovated room. Workmanship was very poor. I could provide a whole punch list of things that were not done properly or finished at all. When making reservation, There was no indication that the hotel was being renovated. Entrance and check in weโre in a dark dreary small side door. Not a welcoming or comforting atmosphere. Linens were stained and thread bare. Breakfast was provided in a small conference room with limited seating. Food looked unappetizing, gross. We could not bring ourselves to eat there. I feel terrible that they are investing, major finances into a remodeling that is sloppy and incomplete in what they considered to be a finished room.

4 night stay for baseball tournament
We were a little hesitant to book a room because of the negative reviews, but went ahead with it because the photos looked good. Yes, the hotel is undergoing renovation, and that should be mentioned on Expedia. We had no trouble finding the temporary entrance, the staff was friendly and courteous. Our room and bathroom were very clean, the bed comfortable. We were given fresh towels and toiletries every day. We had no issues whatsoever with the construction, and will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Disappointing stop on our way to outer banks. Though our room was newly renovated, it only had two bath towels, the TV didnโt work and after three trips to the desk the manager said I wish I had a different room to give you but I donโt.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
Completely under Renovation. Pool, Bar, and Fitness center were CLOSED. Hotels.com did NOT disclose that information and charged us the same for a room with all these amenities. The main lobby was closed and you had to enter through a side door. The parking lot was filled with people, CONSTANTLY and felt unsafe leaving my car in the parking lot. The breakfast was a JOKE, some guest room converted to a breakfast cafe and it was extremely limited. My room was covered in painters tape and smelled like a freshly painted room. The door did not shut all the way and we had to prop something up against it so it seemed shut from the outside. The TV didnโt work and there was no phone to call the front desk, had to ride these sketchy carved elevators. The place is straight in the Ghetto.This whole place was a joke and the pictures online are extremely deceiving. Save your money and go somewhere else, even a Motel 6 is better than this. The staff were very nice as they understood why we were upset, but gave us no discount or anything. JOKE.

Terrible. Never again.
The room was dirty and in poor condition. Not like advertised. Dead bugs dirty sheets. Pool was closed the weekend we were there. The whole place was being Renovated it was a construction zone. Stayed on the 4th floor and the whole floor smelled of weed. Kids running up and down the hallway all night. Right by the stairwell so every time someone took the stairs the door slammed and was woken up all night. The parking lot had a huge hole while being poorly lit so my car went right in it and it messed up the front of my car.

I wonโt stay there again
Construction being done, the mattress was horrible, pillows horrible. Elevators did not work. Only thing that was good was the lady that checked up in was very nice.

Disastrous to the tenth power!!!!
Where do I start? First, I called ahead of time to ensure that I received a roll-away bed. At the time of arrival I was told that they do not carry roll-away beds. Then when I arrived at the room. There was dirty linen on the floor of several rooms in front of the door. Also, there was no coffee at breakfast and the breakfast had an 1/2 late start. Also, the hotel smelled like weed. Elevator had graffiti and was not clean. Also, my door did not close and exposed our room. There were no phones in our rooms, and I asked if I could have the toilet fixed and never received service. The walls were dirty in the room and shower was not clean. Also, we had decorative pillows and not regular pillows. The refrigerator door would not open. Also, I told them that it was 4 of us. They gave us towels for 2 guests. Lastly, the pool was unavailable because that too was dirty.

My stay was very unprofessional, unsanitary and aweful, aweful customer service. Manager April is the worst. Im nit sure what this world has come to with allowing someone with her attitude and unprofessionalism to even work there and interact with the customers. My ADVICE, NEVER EVER BOOK A STAY AT THE LAQUINTA BY WYNHAM @ 300 South Salisbury Blvd, Salisbury, Md 21804. They are renovating the facility. But my opinion they need to renovate their STAFF AS WELL. The worst ever. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never been treated so rudely, nor have I ever dealt with this level of unprofessionalism. Attorney and Too level of Managment for the Franchise have been notified. DONT EVER BOOK THERE!!!!! Part 2 with updates will be posted.

It was under renovation, but we had no warning of this. The pool could not be used. The tv did not work, and it took 3 trips to the desk to get the WiFI to work. We were told that there would be a hot breakfast 6:30am to 9:30am. We arrived for breakfast at about 7am. The dinning room was locked and no one was around to ask what the problem was. The desk told us that the key to the dinning room could not be located earlier, but that they had finally found it, and that breakfast would be available soon. We had had it by that time, and left to get breakfast elsewhere. We told the desk attendant, that we thought that a discount should be given for all of the inconvenience, but we only got excuses. No more staying at La Quinta for us. Oh, and the newly renovated room we were in had unfinished switch plates, unattached base boards, flawed painting, and paint tape. Very unprofessional.
