The room itself wasnโt terrible โ we had a king-size bed that was comfortable enough for my spouse and I. I was a little apprehensive based on some of the recent Google reviews, but at first it didnโt seem too bad. Unfortunately, I woke up with clusters of bites and bites in linear patterns, which are consistent with bed bug bites. I canโt say with 100% certainty, but the bite patterns strongly suggest bed bugs from this establishment. Very disappointing and concerning. Beware if youโre considering staying here.

This is an old Quality Inn. They remodeled the front desk area. My room's AC unit did not blow cold air, the cleaning people left behind two bananas that had to have been sitting for a few days as they were very dark on the shelf above the fridge, and the fridge had mold in it because it was unplugged. Room 214. Right up the staircase from the front desk and first door on the right. They should clean the carpets in that room. It has a smell to it.

Wait for the upgrade
Gross! Unfortunate we were not notified of upgrades going on. Hallways and bedrooms smelled moldy etc. Toilet leaked and they didnโt clean the mess nor the room. Bedroom floor was full of moisture. Beds were clean, we think?

Windam Takeover Not A Good Change
Been a semi-regular traveler to this hotel, sinc before the Quality to Baymont Inn change. Staff is amazing, but typical Windam property, they take an economical roof, in an older outdated building and want to hold a big "damage deposit" which they say is refunded an hour after checkout but last time I stayed in a Windam property it took 5 days when using the same bank and another hotel chain it actually does get refunded in a couple hours. This is why I stopped using Windam properties for stays and sadly theyve ruined my favorite hotel I used 2-3 weekends a month. The carryover staff is amazing, its not their fault Windams policies are a deal breaker.

Pros: Hotel was easy to find, check in was simple, room was clean, and front desk people were friendly. Cons: Mattress was too worn. Had to place a pillow under my hip to sleep on either side. Hallway was noisy at 9:30am in morning and the cleaning staff were also talking & laughing loudly in hallway. I had previously attended a concert the night before and did not get into late and needed a late check out, but with all the noisy in the hallway I could not sleep and ended up leaving at hotel early.

Frequent guest, great value.
Same people for the most part as it was when it was a Quality Inn a couple weeks ago. Always kind and professional. Room was clean and comfortable. Always a good stay, especially for the price
