I enjoy going into a fellow friend at the front desk from where I was from. It was really neat to see him just relate customer service wise. When I checked in. I felt like I was at home. I got there about 4:00 so it was a gentleman was a beard and he is a very very good worker and I appreciate his hospitality and making sure that I had a accessible room for me and my service dog. I can make short trips these days and even living in Michigan. Sometimes I have to stop and stay and I love staying at you Resort especially with it on the bay what a beautiful area you have. Thank you so much for the hospitality the generosity and kindness that you gave us

It was ok but nothing spectacular. The rooms were clean save for some hairs in places. The bed, pillows and couch were clean but not comfortable. I asked for a few extra softer pillows but they didn’t have any. Even though I kept my keys separate, they deprogrammed 3x over my two day stay. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. I have food allergies and am lactose intolerant and there was no variety, nor were there things I could eat- no alternative milk and nothing really fresh, so if that’s a deterrent for you- take note. My stay was ok- it could have been better in small ways.

Terrible

We checked into our room and quickly left. Room was filthy, floor dirty, curtains dusty and had a terrible odor. Hallway had multiple dirty spots on carpeting and had air freshener all over to hide offensive odors. When informing the front desk we were leaving and why she gave us no response other than the room was non-refundable. This hotel needs new management and a total remodel!! Stay away!

Beautiful views, better for adults only

The room was nice with a view of the lake. It’s older and lacks updates. There were a couple groups in the parking lot and using the waterfront tables - loud talking/music/smoking pot kil until pretty late. It seemed like some patrons were living there. I would say there again- but maybe not with the kids.

Not good

This hotel needs to advertise no elevators as seniors having to bring stuff upstairs. Hotel smelled so bad & carpets old. We almost left but from traveling to tired.

AVOID! GROSS! UNPROFESSIONAL!

DO NOT STAY HERE. We planned to do one night to end a road trip circling Lake Michigan. The place we showed up at is nowhere near what is pictured. Absolutely disgusting and scratchy linens and smelled like mold. Incredibly noisy, and very sketchy. 20-something guy at front desk had terrible vibes. Gym was in total disrepair. It felt like some level of illegal activity was happening. Our dog has stayed in countless hotels, townhomes, and cabins, and has NEVER been as on guard and stressed as he was. Dog also kept smelling a spot on the bed.... We decided to pack up during a rainstorm to stay elsewhere. The front desk guy claimed to cancel my reservation so I wouldn't be charged, but he let it go through. I luckily was able to dispute it with my CC company.
